Pull Harder was the song that introduced me to Trivium. Would love to see a reaction to that. Trivium are one of the very best live acts out there too.
@metalguru85 what's up my fellow metal it was fan they do put on a good show i seen them Just as they were coming on to the scene. They were with Lamb of God ASHES OF THE WAKE TOUR WITH SHADOWS FALL THEY PLAYED IN A old movie Theater.they could only fit 400 peeps in there one of Best shows I have seen
Great band! One of those bands - along with Lamb of God - that were the forerunners of the new wave of Thrash back when everything was metalcore and nu-metal.
Now were talking!!! I have suggested once or twice before over the years. like the song Thoughts Without Words. The Art of Balance and War Within are great albums
Love love love love this song! Workout staple, getting stuff done in the yard, waking up, going down the road, any high energy application of music, it is on the playlist. It was also playing the last time my old ass tried to circle up in an arena pit!!!!
A genre is more like telling you what isle of the grocery store the cookies are on, wont tell you exactly where in the isle it is and what shelf. Its not like the 80s and early 90s genres were EXACTLY what they were and how they will always be.
I saw these guys open for Dream Theater in 2011. Pretty good show, but I was there specifically to see Dream Theater for the first time. So I was super hyped for them. It was kinda like 'hey, you guys are good, but can you hurry up & finish. I wanna see the headliner.' Sorry Trivium.😊😉
Morning guys great reaction! I always forget how much I like Trivium, I don't know anything about them but an old friend said it was one of the best shows they had ever seen! I also have not seen Anchorman, people have told me it's right up my alley, I have a twisted sense of humor but for some reason I just never watch it, maybe for Christmas this year I'll treat myself LOL✌😎🖤
Trivium is one of my favorites! Being a drummer myself, I find Alex Bent to be a tremendously great drummer. He's one you really don't hear much about & I feel he's highly underrated. He's got some playthrough videos up on Trivium's YT page and they're great! One thing to tell that a drummer is a good one is how relaxed they are when playing. Watching the jawline is a good indicator..... for those who are non-drunmers! 😊🤘🏼💙🥁
"this looks like this is gonna be death metal" someone show them ibaraki immediately. thats vocalist matt heafy's black metal side project. if you wanna be really confused, he had gerard way from my chemical romance which i dont know if youve ever listened to them, on the album on a song called ronin
Love Trivium. Seen them 5 times. And I can listen to all their albums back to back with a big smile on my face. But I never vibed with this song. I always skip it 😂
I don't think they can be put in any one genre. Like you said, they are pretty diverse. Definitely metalcore elements, but some songs especially older ones sound like thrash.
This does absolutely nothing for me. It just seems like an interchangeable song Ive heard from a million other bands. Just kinda boring and generic to me. I liked the solo though. I really do hate to sound so negative, but there is so much better and original bands out there that this eerks me lol !

Same back when it was first released!

Looking back on all the reactions, I don't think I've ever seen anyone suggest the band Shadows Fall, great band!!!!

Should check out more trivium! Such a great, diverse metal catalogue
Matt is a poet with his instruments before his words play. This band is one of my Goats.

This song is about 8 wives who eat wise. They eat rice and egg whites. Here are the lyrics from the chorus:
8 wives
eat wise
eat rice
egg whites
😂
I can't unhear this lol! Reminds me of slaughter to prevail opening line "tell me you love me with my socks on!
Mid
