You talk about the height. I can say its both its streangth and weakness. Solid dooms day bike. An absolute tank . You can put t kickstart on it even. But yes itsa tall lady to ride.
So i have previously looked as you well know at all 3 of those bikes.. I would say get the crf 300l rally. Heres my reasonings. The cb500x and trans alp is both 100 pounds more than the xr and 300. The 300 is the samish price as the 500x where as TA is a few thousand more. The HP difference on the 300 and XR is you lose only 8 HP. Glad the adjustments worked though. P.s. i completely understand the spider deal!!

Yeah it’s a trade off, it’s a lot better since doing these adjustments. Not perfect but better for sure!

Yeah I keep going back in forth and then the next day I don’t want anything new 😂. Who knows what if anything I’ll do!
