- Ruth missed the chance to go to school and has been working since she was a child to survive. She was married with two children but left the marriage because of being mistreated. When they worked things out, she was to go back to their home but told her husband she needed some time. On the night she told him that, he went home and told his mother that if they don’t bring Ruth back to him, he would end his own life and on that might, he did. Ruth then lost her daughter to pneumonia in 2021. She had left her daughter under the care of her parents who she says had problems with alcohol. She says people blame her for the dеаth of her husband and she regrets not being there for her daughter when she started falling ill.

She should have no regrets for not going back to her late husband. He would have taken her life too. That was his plan.
As a human nature it pains because she was married to him and they shared a lot. May God give her comfort
How do you know he would have killed her yet you don't live in his mind ? Maybe he just wanted her company.

They are trying to reduce nosocomial infections. By limiting the time spent with patients.

Telling their stories is part of healing
Telling the story is healing ,there is no single day they will heal completely
Kuna uchungu mtu haezi heal, and healing huanza na kuongea, na hakuna mtu hulazimishwa kushare story so let her be, let her cry it out

This is so painful 😔... I can imagine your pain dear ...Be strong
😭😭😭😭😭 pole mummy. You've been thru alot.May God's healing be upon you na your family
It's a high time Kenyan hospitals start calling loved ones to let them know when their loved ones have died or area near death because we have cell phones instead of just letting someone come and find an empty bed. This hurts even more
I agree with you. Sometimes you go there and you are told pole sana😭
Palliative care should be taught a lot to people in kenya . Doctors take advantage. Of vulnerable sick people when they know the person is coming to their End of life (eol)life , they don’t care at all . Palliative care should be explained what palliative care is in details and how to handle it in all ways .
True
But even when they know like a child is dying why not leave the mum to stay with her child aki wafrika tuko na uyama ingine.

Amen. May God visit her.
this is so sad, lm a nurse in US the care for dying patients is very different. the whole family is always allowed to be with the patient even after hrs. l have seen patients take their last breath with their loved ones there, we hold their hands, give them hugs, coffee just to comfort them. kenyan hospitals need to do better, so disappointed.
Pole sana. Imeniuma. Mungu ni mfariji mwema dadangu. Jipe moyo. Maombi yangu yako pamoja nawe. pole sana
Pole sana dadangu Mwenyezi Mungu akuvute machozi na akuinue kutoka maisha magumu akupe tabasamu la milele ❤ Rember this... what God cannot do does not exist
She went thru hell, but God can restore all that she lost.
Kenyan hospitals management all over the country need to rethink about not allowing close family members at least 1 or 2 people to spend nights and be there for critical patients especially those that they(doctors and nurses) know very well they are nearing death (end of life) and worst of all pediatric patients!! Both patients and family need your care- patients whose family members are available focus on getting better and not worry about being keft alone wuth strangers! Take care of the whole patient, not only the physical but also the mental health. The whole patient =the patient and the family members.Subjecting a kid that age to unnecessary separation anxiety from the mother is uncalled for. Hospital leaders please emphasize or think about it like this, what if it was your little daughter? These cases are so many in Kenya. Please please hospital management and leadership help families get closure. Pole sana Ruth. 😢 🙏🏾i pray for God's comfort and Divine Protection over you and little Vickie and your parents also.
You are right
Mimi ningembeba niede na yy sababu sinidawa alikuwa tu anapewa ,ningembeba nililie Mungu amponye ,Mungu ndie anafufua wafu God is the last card when everything jams!
Well talk we need more help from government talking about the hospital problems 👏🏽🙏🏽🇰🇪

Good hostess but silence is golden sometimes. Telling someone you will get another man and bear more children at such a time is......... Some things are best handled by people who've been there.
Too much suffering in this world.
