Violence was too much. Mimi nikatafuta passport, nikatafuta visa, nikatorokea US instead of death. But I regret my 18 yrs went to trash. I left 24 yrs ago. Ladies, if you get certain red flags, don’t waste your time. Take off. I’m who I’m because I left that violence. Kuongea ama kuendanisha nyumbani na male coworkers warranted a whole nights beating- ta ndarama. Keep up lady. You’ll be just fine.

Kudos Gladys for taking such a brave step,, this is un imaginable coz i know your ex husband ,, he was employed at our farm for close to 10yrs then got promoted to be our shop attendant at OJ… my mum n dad would be shocked to hear that he turned out to be a different person ,,them having taken him in from when he was a very young boy , we used to be disciplined together if we made any mistakes .. surprising i met him at one of the hotels along Kiambu road and we interacted very well in 2014-2015 and he made us go to that hotel for so long coz he was one of the best attendants till he left 😢😢…. Stay strong and am really happy for you..
