If the Texas vs Texas A&M game has national championship implications for both teams, it’ll be the beginning of what will be the biggest rivalry game in the SEC for the foreseeable future.

I love marcel but I thought it was irresponsible for you to say “He gave us the best chance to win” in your preview. Connor is the guy and has been that dude! He had 1 bad game that all the casuals saw on Gameday and yall judged him for that. He gives us the highest ceiling and is only going to get better with this o line and building chemistry with these receivers. Connor’s a “Veteran” but hasn’t had many starts. Elko Era is here 👍🏽
Obviously, when CW was injured enough, Reed *did* give us the best chance to win. But once the injury issue (mostly) resolved, that was no longer the case. I am just happy we have CW *and* MR. A lot of teams would love to be in that situation.
We may be leaning on Mr. Reed again at some point this season. Nice to know we can.
@@Agg1E91 sure if Weig isn’t 100% healthy I agree, but that’s not what this guy was saying before. He was saying Reed creates a completely new dynamic for this offense which simply isn’t true unless he only watched the Florida game which I’m guessing he did.

Assuming that the O-Line continues to improve, which would put them in the outskirts of that 2012 group, and the RB production is solid, CW is the clear preference. Passing and read decisions are superior and he can still hurt you *enough* on simple N/S runs.

I was at the game. Crowd noise definitely had an impact on the offense of Mizzou. I've been to a ton of loud games in Kyle Field but yesterday was rockin'!!

If Missouri would’ve whooped A&M like A&M just did, people would be high on Missouri calling them a lock for the playoffs. But when A&M does it to Missouri then it’s just because Missouri was overrated and “A&M still hasn’t proven anything and lost to ND”. A&M just has to win out and split the LSU/Texas games and respect will be earned.

I never understand the argument of "Reed gives you the best chance to win." What was that ever based off? Wiegman's worst game of his college career? It was clear since the Bowling Green game that Reed's inability to read the defense was hurting the A&M offense. With Wiegman, the defense is forced to defend against the pass, which opens up A&M's three high-quality HB's to run the ball.

Lemme tell u about how elko said in training camp that there was no question of who would start at qb and he stuck to it and it really worked I don’t care how much you like Marcel reed weigman is better
We can run on any team without Marcel but with him we can’t pass on the other hand Conner had four incompletions and made a couple of first round throws also rushing for 40 yards. He is BETTER
Aggies can only drop 1 more game and it has to be in a close one to LSU or Texas if they go to the CFP. Highly doubt A&M withbtheor schedule at 9-3 they get an automatic nod into the dance.

Well, to be fair to those doubters, every season under Fisher and a few under Sumlin, they'd go out and have a win like this and then later follow up with an ugly loss to a team they had no business losing to.
I am hopeful but I want to see them dominate against the teams they are "supposed to" dominate and beat. Otherwise they end up looking like the Tide (never thought I'd say that!) if they take *any* opponent for granted.

I think its an overreaction to call Mizzou an overrated team, if you look at their schedule 9 to 10 wins is still possible even with suspect defense. You get them out of rhythm its Easy to beat Mizzou which is what happened on saturday but that does not happen often. Klein had some success against Mizzou last year at K State. But, Im willing to bet 41-10 doesnt happen to them again this year.

Out in the first round of the playoffs....arguably, A&M might be their only game against a ranked team. Not sure I'd put them in over a Group of 5 team like Boise State or a couple of others.
