My brother's an ENFP. He's a college professor with a lucrative side hustle. He did even worse than me in school, but it seems that ENFPs unlock unlimited powers once they align their goals with understanding/working with people.
I am definetly an ENTP. Most people probably percieve me as a ENFP because i have a very well developed Fe. I loved pulling pranks in school. In high school i was doing stuff like releasing 3 chickens with signs around their necks marked 1, 2 and 4. Just because i knew they would be looking for 3 all day. In college is was not uncommon for me to run at people on all fours out of the blue.
Funny you mention labeling the chickens as 1, 2 & 4.... My friend is ENTP and I'm ENFP. She loves pulling pranks and I admire it greatly. So, she decided to play a prank on our pastor by buying 100 teeny tiny plastic ducks, labeling each one with a number 1 to 100 on the bottom and hiding them throughout our entire church. Not one room was excluded... including the bathrooms. She left the number 1 duck in the center of our Pastor's desk with a note that read: "Happy Birthday, Pastor... only 99 more to go." 😂 Genius. For my part... I may or may not have 20 tiny plastic ducks in my nightstand... which I pilfered for two reasons... one, they are so CUTE! (ENFP value number 263... tiny versions of anything automatically make them cute), and two... I laugh knowing my pastor will never be fully certain there aren't 20 random ducks just hidden around the church. His birthday was in February... we are still finding ducks in July. 😂 One other story... I'm fairly certain our pastor is ENTP or ESTP. He is a prankster, as well. He once went to our local Applebee's alone to have lunch. While he was there, a big game was on the TVs. Since they were smart TVs, he realized he could hack them from his phone. So, he proceeded to wait until a big play was happening and then change the channel mid play. As the restaurant erupted in confused chaos, he played it cool and kept quiet while also quietly laughing to himself. When the next big play happened, he did it again. And again. Throughout the game. When he told us the story, he was laughing while his INTP wife chided him for his antics. She had no clue he had done that. 😂 I found it hilarious. Anyway... I tip my hat to your pranks. Rock on!
Slightly more ENFP but logic and feelings factor equally with a slight bias towards feelings in some situations, for me. So I stay, again, on the border of being both. Not much a prankster and I don't like my feelings challenged also very intune with how I feel about things rather than not knowing. I definitely frame my opinions by using my own logic and need the help of my family and friends to process and get thru if I'm struggling with something, after I've thoroughly exhausted analyzing it on my own. I tend to analyze, ask family and friends, analyze etc until I've figured it out. Usually I only need repeated help from family and friends if it's something truly heavy though. I dunno lol.
I think what you mean is not logic, but rational. You might want to look into the difference between Te and Ti and see with which one you like to use. Also I saw that feelings can be interpreted as logic by ENFPs because that's how they are taking responsibility, so it must be a type of "logic" to them?
When I first did the test 5 years ago I got ENFP. I used to think I care about people feelings but I’ve now realized that I just don’t want them to hate me, agree with what I say and do what I ask for (no ill-intent I just want to get the job done asap and everybody will be happy). Look back when I was a kid, I always argue with my parents. They are quite conservative and never listen to my extreme idea at all, I need to survive until I move out so that’s why I adapted myself into this kind of person. 😂 After living on my own, working on my childhood trauma and working with some of narcissists co-worker(everyday is like working on a battlefield) for the past 5 years I did the test again and now I finally realized I’m an ENTP.
It could be more easy and more exact…. Do you make decisions based on logic, you are an ENTP… do you make your decisions based on logic mixed with a bit of emotions, you are still an ENTP. Do you make your decisions based on emotions you are an ENFP, if you make decisions based on feelings mixed with a bit of logic you still are ENFP. The thing is, I don't believe every ENTP is acting like an ass and not caring about others feeling. I also am pretty sure not every ENFP is an annoying, rainbow-loving kid, who is unable to think logical.
The difference I’ve seen between ENFPs and ENTPs is: ENFPs: are like the sensitive class clown, very friendly and just wanting to see people smile and be happy ENTPs: are generally against the status quo and don’t care about others feelings, in other words: they’re the class clown who’s only in it for their amusement alone
yeah so I’m an entp with an enfp friend, here’s what I’d describe my observations in class like Enfp: makes weird noises in class, asks endless stupid questions about the subject, makes fun of that one guy in class outta nowhere, gets angry when others disturb him although he disturbs others Entp: makes weird noises in class, purposely annoys the teacher and make the class stop, make stupid excuses for not doing homework and gets kicked out of class, says uncalled for stuff during lesson
@@mantuun_buuz yes ik according to the myers Briggs theory it’s inborn, but growing up bc of circumstances and the way I was forced/taught to behave made my test result answers a little different to now that I’m an adult( anyways long story) but yes you’re right about mbti can’t change
I'm an ENFP that also once got ENTP. I think I did the test when I was highly functional (when I got ENTP). It was about at the time when I want to be more productive so I learned how to plan. It was also at the time when I got brainwashed by my INTP lil brother about logical reasoning. But then I did the test again, tried to answer the test honestly on what comes naturally to me instead of what I want to be or learned. So, I got ENFP again. It's not really surprising though because the score of F in my results were always below 60%, probably that's why it's easy for it to shift at times to T. But looking at the cognitive functions, I couldn't relate to Ti being my secondary function instead of Fi. So, I'm sure that I'm an ENFP no matter what. I know that I can learn on how to be more 'Ti' like, but it's definitely not a natural thing for me compared to using Fi. Especially because my lil brother is an INTP. I could see how someone with a natural Ti mode, functions and thinks. It's quite different from me for sure. Thinking logically is a must for him and he would get frustrated and annoyed when things are not logical. In almost all that he sees and hears, he would naturally started to ponder about the logical reasoning. So, inventing a new theory about things is something that he'll do without even having any intention to do it. It happened on autopilot. Now, those who operate with Ti aux like ENTPs probably would be a little bit different from Ti dom users like INTPs, but it's also a little bit similar in the case that they couldn't ignore the logical reasoning when viewing things or ideas. The tips is that, your dom and aux functions should be a natural thing for you, not what you developed over time or maturity. You're in these modes on autopilot, almost everyday. There's a big difference between Ti aux and Fi aux. For me as an ENFP, I know that I'm always trying new things for the sake of my curiosity only and not for the sake of trying to prove something. Also, everytime I engaged in a discussion about things, it's always because I want to promote new ideas that I feel excited about and not because I want to prove my ideas and debate with others. You can say that ENFPs are much more less competitive than ENTPs. ENFPs avoid conflicts while ENTPs thrive in chaos.
oh thx the test said that I'm enfp but the problem was I didn't have that much emotion like enfp so after I study function I was entp and this video is proof of it
Ok seems like i'm a mix of both and i swap them constantly depending on the situation, maybe is because i'm neurodivergent(? But well i loved this ❤ thanks a lot
This is describing the stereotypes. If I think of Paige Matthews from Charmed, who's definitely ENTP, she cares about other people a lot and she's very altruistic and easily shows her own feelings. I'm no stereotypical ENFP either. My feelings are kind of involved, but I love common sense, practical and fast solutions and logic, even though I'm ENFP. If someones talking bullshit and the scientific facts already debunked it, I choose the facts. And I despise solutions which take up too much time and are inefficient or too idealistic without thinking and dealing with the consequences. If something doesn't make any sense, it tends to bore or even aggravate me. The only time I can see that my feelings are involved: If I don't expect something bad to happen (normally I can already spot the day to day catastrophes from a large distance) and it hits me like a battering ram, I shut down any emotional expression completely. Or if someone obviously whispers behind my back, I tend to get unusually quiet while my blood starts boiling. I tend to hold it back to myself since I don't want to bother others with it especially those who weren't involved... but say the wrong thing and I'll blow off some steam immediately.
@@TrebleKnight Well, my mom''s ESTJ, what would you expect ;)? But my Ne is very strong as well, obviously. My Si usually shows itself if the goal is to help someone or during grip stress. On one hand it's helping me to have great organizational skills if my goal is to help a living being, but if it's grip stress it feels like I'm completely paralyzed. But hell, if I want something to happen, I'll make it happen. My mom isn't the stereotypical ESTJ either. She absolutely cares about other people and especially about their feelings, so she tries her best not to hurt anyone with her words, even though she is pretty direct and straight forward. She doesn't have any problems with expressing her emotions but being sad, she has quite the laid back and very open minded attitude. The only times she struggles expressing her emotions: If someone hurts her feelings or something troubles her, she will try to fight it until she bursts in anger or in tears, sometimes both. I on the other hand show those emotions directly due to a direct change in my behavior.

That's what maturity will do for you
And what are you and how are you doing ?
I'd say, generally, ENTPs are more chill and humorous, while ENFPs are more intense and passionate. Same goes for ESTPs and ESFPs
enfps humiliate themselves to make people laugh, entps humiliate others to make people laugh
You know that sums it up pretty well XD
Gosh, I love the explanation, so easy to follow, AND I love both these types!
Thanks! They are both fun types
