Ohhhh…l have a whole stack of books lined up, ready to go. And now….I’m in trouble😂l need these books! I don’t know if anyone else goes through these crazy book binges, but I do. Then I settle down to reading. Then…boom! Again.
I so get what you mean about forgetting the early status quo because so much changes. I’m reading one of Kate Morton’s books and l get so swept away, l end up saying…who did that at the beginning? What? It can be such a tiny detail but it all matters. But I love it, books are like tapestries, every thread matters, every thread links everything else. Now I’m going to have to get these books. Eye rolling, l’m at it again, but…I LOVE it! Thank you so much for such a brilliant review❤️

I love Victorian Lit. but not so much the gothic, spooky, horror... BUT I do like historical fiction. I will have to check out The Silent Companions. 🤔 & The Shape of Darkness. 🙂 Great video.

Find her books a bit hard to read because of the way and style it is written, the English seems a bit deep
I'm very confused about the ending of the book, would you mind explaining what ends up happening?
Unfortunately I've read a hundred books since this one so I'd need to read it again to refresh my memory! I'm sure it's been discussed on Reddit or something though.
