  • In this Photoshop Tutorial I'm showing you a nice and easy way to add motion to clouds in your landscape photos using Photoshops Path Blur filter. This effect can be very helpful, especially when you want to fake longexposure-like motion.

Okay, I got it to work. However, the little detail that you said not to worry about is super apparent. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to do a more tedious job with the brush?

Sorry for the rather late answer. Happy to hear that you got it to work! Whats the problem thats left for you now?

I followed all of these steps. I added path arrows but it did not blur anything. (Adobe PS 2020)

Also, when I used the polygonal lasso tool to cut out my object in the sky (similar to lighthouse) it actually shifted the foreground from below into its spot. Weird.

The speed was increase very high and there was still no change to the clouds.
