Original Heart bassist Steve Fossen and drummer Michael Derosier are the powerful driving engine behind the band's classic hits like Barracuda, Straight On, Crazy On You, Magic Man, Even It Up, Dog & Butterfly, Heartless, Kick It Out, the list goes on. After being inducted with Heart into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, Fossen and Derosier are back together with HEART BY HEART, a new band dedicated to performing the legendary music of Heart in the most genuine way possible.
Great thing about Somar and Lizzy is that they don't go out of their way to try to impersonate Ann and Nancy. They don't have to. They're awesome in their own right.
Not a bad cover, but there are very few who can do Ann & Nancy and most of those are in country music now. Nice try but no cigar.
I wonder what Ann and Nancy think of this?
I became a much better drummer watching mike derosier way back when... he’s amazing
Canada's Bonham.
Only one lead guitarist???? You can't duplicate Heart with one guitarist..
I love Somar's singing and Lizzy's guitar playing-- just the best, they're great live!
Shows how much easier that intro is to do on an electric guitar versus an acoustic like Nancy does...
Need to tune down a half step. She's struggling a little bit on the high notes. Would help a lot!
She's really good, but nobody can duplicate the power and soul of Ann Wilson.
Absolutely the best tribute band. Saw in AC in 2015 and they rocked !
Love Lizzy Daymont on Guitar, and keyboard, and vocals. ❤
Wow. I think they need a lot of practice. Singer average. The girl that played the intro needs to get the intro right. Maybe play at some state fair
Saw this band at the Music Matters show at the Neptune Theater with Roger Fischer on guitar.
Going to see them at the triple door on the first of February in Seattle! Seen the original band 4 times back in the day❤️❤️
I saw the original Heart playing a bar in Marysville, Washington... from there they went to Europe opening for STIX!!
The singer has really bad intonation and a warble in the vibrato. She's obviously a smoker. Her voice gives out on several notes. She's obviously pushing too hard to make the sound bigger than her chest voice really is and has no resonance. I couldn't listen for more than a minute. Had high hopes for this track. Very disappointing performance. Obviously Mike and Steve still kick ass.
She’s trying to emulate the greatest female rock singer ever. Pretty sure she’s still doing her day job and this is just for fun.
Nobody can ever match or be an improvement on a cherished original. Watch live Heart performances pre-1980, when there was nothing but the mic between the singer and the audience. Heart sounded no different at the point.
I expected the singing to be much better. Very off key and out of tune. Why would you sing in public like this???? Practice and listen to ur self before u go live. Im really disappointed. Wow.
geez, .....I'm guessing you must be a world class vocalist somewhere in the same category as Elvis to think you are so good that you can insult this women on her vocal ability.
So.....Mr Perfect, show us your concert footage and let's have a listen to your stellar pipes.
the fact that you cover heart is great. I play this song everyday when I get home it's a classic. I prefer a tele it just gives the acoustic sound so much better and crisp.
you this singing Very well congratulation girl pretty enchanting wonderful
its good ill admit.......but its still all wrong...
REAL stuff here. All awesome. And only a handful of views? And the "studio cover" version by 2 chicks ( Brook C & Moriah Formica ) has a million views. Sure they're good but not THIS GOOD! or real
I saw another video that began with the strumming intro portion of Crazy on Yu by Lizzy.. I was disappointed, but I see now that it was just the edit, and that she can hold her own with Nancy herself.
The Barracuda video is even better. Although I expected the guitarist to start playing Pride and Joy
That guitar solo at the beginning! Listening to that makes you realize how good Nancy is.
That's Lizzy Daemont, this is a Heart cover. And very well done
@@theoldhunter6090 I think they know that. They were pointing out how good Nancy actually is.
That's not Nancy, nor is that Ann on the vocals.
It's the only thing Nancy can do though. I like this chick better
@@stevehammond9156 yes, I think the original poster knows this. I think he is saying that this lady's rendition of Nancy's acoustic playing, just goes to show how good Nancy was/is, to have written something like this to begin with.
Just heard about you on AM 820 KGNW! Well done... and thank you.
You put on a great show at Drafts and Drums. Especially this song.
I wanna be in a Heart tribute band soon!
did you?
No power.
Good band the lead singer belongs in a church choir
Someone has been studying Ann’s mannerisms
Love watching you guys ❤
That's girl's voice goes through my head like a rusty nail...she can't hit a lot of the notes...yeeesssshhh
Unfortunately, Ann can't hit them amy more either.
@@gtrguy5851 Yeah I know....but Ann has at least earned her clunkers....
She can’t hit the high notes, bye Felicia!

Wow! This is awesome!!
Sounds Great!!
Such a GREAT song with one of the best guitar openings ever.
