Love 50+ videos reviews , one thing that drives me nuts is advertising a product for wrinkles with a 20 year old or 30 or 40....advertising should be done for a product with the individual being a age that is the age that I'd aging. I love your efforts to help us 50plus aging women with accuracy! Thank you! 😊

No, you don’t know, this review is an opinion of someone who treated this as any other foundation she had ever had and it’s not the case at all. I suggest you try them, they are cheap if you don’t buy off social media and they are amazing if you learn to apply them as intended. You literally blot them on your skin and use very little. They cover very well, no need to cake them or load coats and coats, do not finish with powder, do not press them in. Think porcelain doll. Think dewy young skin. This review is doing them all a disservice.
I stumbled on this fantastic video after nearly falling for this product on a twitter feed. It seemed worryingly cheap and yes, the colour choices, or lack of them, are baffling. It is so great to get your honest scoop on it - I am now a subscriber and will be recommending you to my friends. Unfortunately, I am now more confused than before about this stuff 🤣 but will probably stick with my Clinique Redness solutions foundation. I love your authenticity and delivery. And you are beautiful, with and without the make up!
I just got this today, and just tried it. I have the lighter color. I used the mushroom brush after wetting it. I worked it into my skin, just patting/dabbing it and smoothing it to the outside of my face. It is very forgiving and I was able to get nice coverage. I had eye makeup and primer on from earlier in the day. I am relearning how to do makeup after several years! I really likehow it doesn't feel like i have foundation on! When I touch my face it feels really soft! Since it was so light in color, I used some statement radiance powder by bareminerals to warmup my face, like a blush, in a "3" pattern on each side. I have to say I really lime this product and recommend using the black mushroom sponge with a lottle patience, as it takes some time!

I just ordered some and I am 64 and haven’t worn makeup in probably 26 or more years. I was with my late husband for 24 years and he passed away 25 months ago(just over two years). I am still mourning him and can barely get out of bed, but I thought if I got something to make myself feel better, maybe I could start living again, instead of just waiting to die. I wanted something light that didn’t emphasize my wrinkles. I never wore makeup on a regular basis, but I’m willing to try anything. So I bought this and it has a pleasant feel on the face and it kind of reminds me of how my mom’s makeup smelled when I was a kid. Whenever I buy an old traincase for my craft project, I love that makeup smell from my childhood. Anyways, I like this product and I appreciate your comment because I w didn’t want to be the only one that actually likes this product. It covers just enough and makes the skin feel soft and smooth and not dry or rough. Thank you again for your comment. Brenda
I like it too, but I will wet the mushroom sponge next time.
I didn’t use separate concealer and it worked around my eyes. I also think primer is a great idea over moisturizer, and then the cc.

I love this product! But I bought the Chafful brand. The mushroom applicator is good quality & when using product, less is more. I apply mine with dry applicator. Once you do a second coat, the coverage becomes awesome, waterproof, long wearing, & does not rub off. If it feels sticky after 5-10 minutes, there's too much product. It gives a dewy look. It's also a good idea to wash the mushroom sponge with soap & water. Rinse well & let dry before using product. I love the choice of shades... There are 4.

Mrs. Melissa M reviewed this a couple of years ago and she loved it. There had not been ads on social media. I’m not sure how she found it but I ordered it and it had the most beautiful finish and I loved it. She never talked about it again and when I ask her about it she told me it was because of the shade range. However, she still wore it when she was not filming. I had a good experience with it also.

One of the women in the clip is Joann Hopkins and I promise you she did not use some mushroom head product! They stole that clip right off of UA-cam of her doing her own makeup on Christopher's channel from a video that has 500K views!

That gray haired woman appeared in a video by Hindash showing how he does makeup on older women. It appears very much to be like it was stolen from his video (which I watched).
I tried many of those, yes, they are the same product in different packaging under different name. Yes, they are very light coloured, aimed mostly at Asian market. Have to say, it looks amazing on my skin and is quite possibly the best foundation I have ever had. It makes me look porcelain and smooth. And glowy. I aim for Korean skin aesthetic, that uniform perfect smoothness and it delivers. There is no second coat, I don’t set it with powder, because the point is to have dewy finish. Yes, perhaps you need to have a particular texture to your skin to begin with. No, they are not gimmicky, use the right base and apply lightly. They are not your regular foundation and need to be applied differently, perhaps apply with your regular sponge or pad, that mushroom is not my favourite. But that foundation is my best ever.

I've actually never heard of this. The name cracks me up, mushroom head? I could see where that "mushroom" shape doesn't get into the nooks and crannies. I agree, gimmicky, 👍. I'm funny about how foundation looks on my forehead too, even with side swept bangs. Thanks Bobbie.

I too use he one Melissa recommended. I have dry skin and really enjoy light coverage foundation. It works well on me, I actually use it on days I want heavier coverage. I did notice you have to go in light handed. I liked the texture of the applicator but not the shape.

My sister sent this to me to try. It was kind of greasy to me, but not bad. However, it broke me out bad. I must of had some kind of allergic reaction. 😳
That's the part that worries me. It's hard to tell who actually makes this so ingredients are hard as well. It's named so many things - it's sketchy to me.
Just got mine today and was a little worried - tried number 1 first and I looked like a ghost! Now I see there is a 1 and 2. So fingers crossed :)

I ended up removing the weird rubber film thing, just dabbing straight into the pot with my fingers, then smoothing it out with my damp elf makeup sponge. Like you, I think it's okay - not great, not horrible.
I do like watch Mrs.M on UA-cam, and I have one of these cushion foundations from Missha and it's good mostly for makeup.,no makeup days for the sunscreen protection since it's an SPF 50. The Missha brand one doesn't have all that mushroom gimmick crap it's just a compact cushion foundation.

I also purchased this makeup and brand I bought had a third shade called buff and it was still too light. I’m Hispanic with light to medium olive skin tone with yellow tones. This makeup was too pink and it didn’t cover my age spots. It’s a good concealer and I had to use my regular makeup on top and THEN I got very good coverage. The makeup did stay on for a long time and after it was one my skin for a few minutes it started to blend better. Would I buy it again yes but use it as a concealer not a makeup. The sponge is useless. It moisturized my skin leaving it very dewy.
Lol, this was a funny video. I bought a version of these mushroom foundations and it was a disaster. The coverage was terrible, the color is limited and it didn’t wear well. 💖🇨🇦🇨🇦

Have we need to use primer and foundation before use it?
Use primer or tone up cream. I use Korean and Japanese primers, which is what would be ideal for this foundation, it’s not supposed to be applied as shown here at all. If you apply it correctly, you will have a perfect skin for a day.

Asian make up is different than the western one, so using those foundations with western cosmetics makes no sense. It's also aiming to achieve a different, more natural and lighter skin color, it's not good for the contouring make up or anything of a sort. It makes your face looks younger and it supposed to shine a little. After a while of usage most of those cosmetics will naturally lighten and even your skin and will make it look healthier ( esp Korean cosmetics)
Thank you, it was the point I made in my comment as well!!! I used many of these exact foundations for that very reason - the K-beauty aesthetic, they are light coloured for a reason and have a particular finish that is porcelain and dewy, they make skin look perfect and doll-like. So to see someone going for a second coat and then beating in the powder is absolutely the wrong way of applying it. It does need a different mode of application and it needs a different type of product to start with. I am not just in love with those foundations, I think they are the best I ever had, and I had a few over a lifetime. I am also a bit disappointed by the review, this product deserves better. It delivered exactly as advertised for me and I no longer use anything else.
@@enigma1nz Yes, exactly, all of this! Those cosmetics are also the best I've ever had, and the way they're improve your skin over time is magical. And I absolutely agree - they give you exactly what the producer promises to, you just need to well .. Use them in the right way. This review is like trying to make a sandwich from the ingredients destinated for the fancy dinner, and then ending up not being satisfied with the result.

As a cosmetologist, it's really giving grease paint. I don't trust the ingredients at all. I bet it creases within an hour on anyone. I think this is ideal for pale and young Asian people (I mean no harm by that comment), but perhaps not for us older people.
I bought it, came here to find out how to apply it. I’m almost 50 and have worn makeup maybe 2x🫣
