I'm still not a fan of the LED screen, but the way it was presented here is 100 times better than whatever the hell that other show was doing. It's much more subtle and made with actual effort
Yeah at this point I have accepted that I payed $300 + gas + food + a hotel room just to look at a big screen.

While I agreed that the hologram sheet felt more immersive.
But let's be honest, they're blurry, literally sensitive to anything that glows, really. And this screen choice is the clearest I've seen her in public (truth kinda hurts) ever since 2010.
It's just the void and the company's lack of innovations atm (aka laziness, shown clearly at their NT productions, and concert songs being reused like they're new along with consistently unchanged recycled animations, they could've at least camouflage the screen with digital background behind the characters but easy money income if they recycle amirit-)

Wow, is just ironic how in the past the concerts looks futuristic and Hologram like experience, now is just a big screen with light show and live music, would be nice to re-release streaming options on cinemas around the world like mikuexpo 2013.

I wish the next Miku Expo in Australia to have this 3D hologram on a simple glass window on stage in the future and never again presented by Crunchyroll doesn't do justice with the cheap (not literally) thousand dollar LED super-screen at the recent North America expo.
This is also a black screen, not a projection - the difference is in how the stage is presented! MikuFes blended the screen in really well with the stage, however Miku Expo so far hasn't attempted to (resulting in the super obvious black rectangular screen in the middle of the stage). Iirc Miku x Kodo also used a screen and blended it in well with the stage - so it really is down to presentation, rather than projection vs screen (I also prefer the projections though!).
This is also a LED screen, they just did a better job blending it with the stage.
This is an LED-screen too. But here they had a good reason to use it. This concert featured some famous Vocaloid-Ps as guest DJs/musicians, and a glass screen with projectors would have taken up too much space for them to also have a DJ booth.

Also, commenting on the MikuExpo in the West (America, Mexico, etc) they were complaining about the show being displayed on a LED Tv instead of an hologram.
Well, Is there that much of a difference? I went to hologram shows (in Argentina) and they are cool but sometimes they have a slightly inferior quality than LED.
The main problem I find here is that hologram shows often have a stage that makes the hologram display area blend in with the background in a seamless way.
I'm pretty sure if they took the same effort with the LED TV shows, the result would be as good as hologram if not better.
EDIT: I went to three shows, two in a small theatre and one on a large concert stage where the hologram show was just a mini side show.
In both theatres the experience was absolutely wonderful and immersive, as the background of the characters blended very well with the background and sides of the small stage.
On the big concert stage show, it sadly felt even ridiculous as it was too much for the small display area for the hologram.
So I understand what the MikuExpo attendees might have felt that day, but it's not a problem of LED TV vs. hologram, but of stage layout, I think.
