    Brain, your speech is really what I'm thinking about subconscious and conscious minds, of course not in full content as I'm did not investigated this two subjects as professionally as you did. It's so good to hear that my inner thoughts intersect with your ones!
    Answering your question, I'm tapping my subconscious mind in the shower with hot water, which can be thought as some sort meditation.

    I think this is key: "So you can feel your subconscious mind pulling you back towards your comfort zone each time you try something new. Even thinking about doing something different from what you're accustomed, will make you feel tense and uneasy."
    Because for me, most of the times when I don't FEEL like doing something and my mind reason against doing it, I just ignore those thoughts and start doing it, and I actually enjoy it. Of course, and it's great advice, the next level is "you have to be willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable doing new things the first few times." so you can do anything you want and makes sense for your goals.

      This is just superb, I've been looking for "battlefield of the mind quotes" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Giyoe Fonogan Builder - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend got great success with it.

    Hi Mr. Tracy, I enjoyed this description of the sub conscious minds power! I do meditations in the a.m, and I do quote Scriptures from the Bible. I feel/find/ that talking to God within my conscious mind helps alot. Thank you for all your useful/great tips. Keep them coming!!

    Thanks Brian Tracy for such valuable video about Subconscious mind. Usually I use the affirmation technique, such as I have some some conflict with my loved one in past , every Time I remember those insidences it makes me sad and derpess that affect my productivity .So in order to change this whenever I remember those things I quickly replace their angry and shouting faces/images with Similing and happy one so automatically the law of attraction take into action.

    I use motivational affirmations and Prepare my mind for 1-2 days before starting any new work or project. This rewires my subconcious mind because i put these things in my concious mind for a time period.

    Actually I use images and affirmations to influence on my subconscious mind. suppose I want go for jogging every morning. Here what I do is to Collect a picture of a runner and paste it in my dream book. Then I keep repeating myself like I want to get up at 5 and go out for jogging. it really works

    Brian, I do have a technique I use. I call it the T3M2S (T to the third power M to the second power S list) or TTTMMS or Ten Things That Make Me Smile list.
    My goal is to write it down every day before I leave my residence and start my day.
    Attitude my not be everything - however, having a great attitude makes everything easier and better. (try smiling and feeling bad at the same time)
    Point and case -
    Side bar shows 5 youtube video's that could be watched. 3 has people smiling, 1 is a slide of the title, 1 is an individual with a stern, straight face. The last one I will never watch because it "feels" negative - in fact that's what it talks about.

    The first minute of the video made me so happy with so rich content knowledge , i dont remember when i discovered something so helpful. When i was 14 years old i had Nka phone with midi tones than later came mp3 music that was like a revolution.

      I like to study audio electronics i sometime push my self to understand the new thing i discovered , i go ahead chip thru the ice until a warning light comes on and take a brake until next day i start over again. After a week of work comes two weeks of relaxation and the information fermentates inside my brain and when it is time for work again a new idea has grown an efficient way of solving the problem.

    I use affirmation and visualization 5 mins for each at a time. By the way, I love you Brian, you are my Hero. From the time I got into know you my life improved radically positively. To be honest, I don't have any interest to watch similar information from your colleagues in the personal development industry.     Hello Brian You have been an inspiration over the years, that was a nice content on subconscious mind. I use affirmations of great things some friends or relatives have said concerning me, most importantly I confess and repeat what God has said concerning me. By constantly affirming, meditating and visualizing pictures of success and replay memories of past success, I deliberate change my state and love myself more just the way I am .

    I was always having problem with how to address my unconsious mind. As a human, as a spirit, as nature, how? Before this I imagined my UM as it would be myself, but it was weird to talk to myself even if I do it all the time wakefully. So a couple of monthts ago I started to imagine my UM as a crystal clear ocean, when I go to sleep I take a plunge in it to feel all the knowledge I collected beforehand. I think it would be a huge progress to build up an instant connection with it in order to make better decisions in my life. I have never been a meditating person but at night time I always try to get closer to this substance as much I possibly can. Good luck for everyone!

    Hey Brian, in case you read this. Years ago I used to follow your advice to write down my major goals each morning (and other suggestive tecniques). what actually happened was it created extreme anxiety as my reality never moved closer to my expectations and the life I constantly imagined. Trying to mix strong emotion with self suggestion made the anxiety much worse. Setting financial goals has never worked for me, its just an exercise in frustration and feeling like hell. I know everything about self image, etc. but to this point non of the self improvement things I have learned and actually taught have worked in my life. (aside for a few years of online success several years back that eventually ended.)

      J Buckenmeyer may I suggest it may not be best to watch his vids if it has this effect on you. keep positive on what does work fr you. Mr Tracy has helped millions but it is not for everyone, im sure. all the best in your endeavours.

      Maybe your goals are to general. This is what I do, it may help you too: I write my daily goals hour by hour, before 8 am. It is impossible not to move forward if I go down the list and do those things. But I don't write my long term goals, I wrote my yearly goals on Jan 1 2017 and they are on my wall. I keep an eye on them.

      I can set other types of goals and complete them. For example, complete a video project by this date. No problem. Workout goals, no problem. Eating goals, can do. These are things that are specific and measurable and you have full control over them. You know that if you put the time in an do certain things you will get the results. You can work towards financial goals but it doesn't mean you are garanteed the success you aspire to. Especially as an entrepreneur you go through many failures and sometimes the failure is just not being able to get beyond a certain point. Having said this I think people who are successful do things they are really good at and they become really good because they have talent in that area and a deep desire to that type of work. The important thing in life isn't being successful, it won't make you happy, the important thing is doing work you love and feeling like you're contributing to society.

      J Buckenmeyer I love what you said. Like you, personal goals doesn't works for me. Always I set goals, and then externals events and real facts from life that are out of control of my hands, made a complete mess. I agree with you 100% , that the most important fact in life is to be healthy, wise, and happy until the last day of my life. Thank you for taking the courage to share your own experience.     That is a great video with well thought tips. It was always my main question: why do I feel uncomfortable when trying something new or different. I am trying now the usage of the 5 second ule to push myself harder to do whatever I think it is better for me and my business.

    Too bad this is not taught to kids in school. Part of me think that's by design, but I'll move on. I listen to something like this everyday, several times a day; to put it into my subconscious. I also put the techniques into practice. I try to write my goals down every day, as if they already exist (in the present). When I was younger, I always wondered where Les Brown got his stuff from. It was from greats like Brain Tracy. Thanks.

    Yes, I use the affirmation on every morning when I go to work.
    I guess it works, but after I've totally memorized all words and phrases and get like just thinking of it it and it automatically comes up, I feel like rather than it sink into the subconsciousness, it just like auto-play mode of some music player.
    So maybe I should use my imagination when I use it or "activate" my brain by chant those affirmations in some new flesh way.

    Thank you for this video. I have a question in my mind. I have read so much regarding the power of subconscious mind & have succeeded so many times. I have been working as an insurance advisor in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). But, many times I have received disappointment even if I had approached the prospect with positive mind & that affects my next call.
