Apologies for the re-upload if you've already seen this. I messed up a trim and cut operation (UA-cam editor) and it wouldn't let me revert it. I did add a few minor improvements while it was down.💜
I had the tab opened for a few days and when i suddenly clicked on it, it said it has been private. But after remembering what video it was, i checked your acccount and thanks god you reuploaded! Thanks no worries though, Thank u for the wonderful info
TSMT. It's common to see hobbyist musicians and gamedevs begging for people to give them a shot, and when you give it a shot you understand why they have to ask people to do it. I am not playing another indie pixelart platformer "with a twist" or listening to another instrumental beat-based hip hop edm that "isn't confined by genre".
Currently prototyping a game, and my mum and older brother have said that it looks very drab when this prototype only exists to make sure that I can even balance the game - it's an idle game and there's a fine line but I have things set up such that things increase at `a^log(t)` which will be far easier to balance around (doing a^t would be way harder for my plans). I've known 3 people to attempt an idle game, to work on the details to find out that they have no clue how to even balance it As my mum would say to me "fail quick and often"
I really like how good of a sound system you created, it’s very clear and punctual. Do you have any plans to add low volume background music in the future?
Imo background music is unnecessary coupling bc folks with computers (which we're programmers so I think most of us have) can just open another tab for music and they also get to adjust it to the volume and song that they want. Personally I feel like adding music typically takes away far more value than it adds. Just my two cents. I also have some sensory processing stuff (ADHD/possibly ASD) which I think may contribute to why I dislike it so much lol
It'd be cool if UA-cam allowed streaming UA-cam music directly in the mobile app but one can only dream 😭 (for those of us on mobile devices that can't stream audio from multiple sources)
i'm curious to know though, how does that video apply to game development? because one thing i really wanted is to make a successful game where everyone enjoys it.
@coderized I feel like a physical product has to be more "finished". I'm currently working on a product but I would feel bad if I sold a product that lacks features that a newer version would have. Or do I have the wrong mindset on that 🤔.
So... the video title got me to click the video but after watching it.. I would've loved it to have a title that would make it come up when someone was actively searching for the topic of the video This is also especially true for your Containers video "Never install locally" These are reaaaally well made information-rich videos I just don't know if the right people will get to find them yk? Anyways, keep it up~
I absolutely love this channel and I hate to see it struggling, but what I hate even more is seeing people bash the creator for changing the title and thumbnail so frequently. YES, HE DOES IT TO GAIN TRACTION. YOU'RE NOT SUCH A GENIUS FOR FIGURING THAT OUT SHERLOCK. If you saw how well the earlier videos did, you'd understand, and if you were in his position, you'd do the same thing too. @Coderized, keep effng going. Change the info as much as you need. We're here for this.
Apple have the time, experienced professionals and money to risk making something new to the market and risky. You don't, that is why. You can't act like Apple until you get to be like apple, have a company that is worth 3.4 Trillion dollars fist, and then you can make wathever you want
You must remember all the times, the rules of millionaire, billionaire, or trillionaire companies DOES NOT apply to you. You are not a trillionaire, the simply fact that a product haves the apple logo on it will make it sell 100x more than if it was your logo
@@JAODc-fo9gf Man, relax. It's common sense to not act like a trillion dollar company. My point is maybe they tried to apply the questions in this video and failed terribly.
Well this whole video isn't intended for Apple employees anyway. It's intended for indie creators, like us. You don't have to apply by these rules but I can tell you from experience that if you do, you'll save yourself a lot of wasted time
Change the title on this, brother. The video offers insights, but the title doen't communicate that. Even something like 'Find out if anyone cares (about your project idea)'.
So the actual unfinished games with tons of bugs and in months of early access periods are just prototypes and actually a good practice in terms of development?
Absolutely! In the case of indie developers, that is. No one forces you to play an early access title. You can wait for full release. But those who are willing to give feedback will help guide the title to something it might never have been otherwise

seems like you applied the prototype logic on a video that is about prototypes ?
Coderized chose violence
Haha I guess I did 💜

Probably not, I kind of like the silence and music taste is subjective. Plan to add more SFX though

Great video! How do you make these animations? They are really good!
There's some info in Discord :)
looking forward to more uploads
I love your videos and animations. After watching 100 docker videos, your docker video really clarified everything ❤
Does this also apply to physical products? Because I can't sell people a prototype right?
It depends I think. People sell prototypes all the time. They just call it version 1
@coderized I feel like a physical product has to be more "finished". I'm currently working on a product but I would feel bad if I sold a product that lacks features that a newer version would have. Or do I have the wrong mindset on that 🤔.

Thanks yeah I do understand what you mean. Just those don't seem to perform as well in the end so I have to base it on statistics
It would be amazing to know how you actually create your videos
Working on something to that effect

I know i've watch this somewhere, yes it's re-upload
Hey coderized , love your channel !!
How am I expected to apply this if not even Apple asked these 2 questions when creating the Apple Vision Pro?
I'm sure they did, just with a select group

just finished the video, amazing as always❤.
How many thumbnails have you used for this video? 😂
Haha I know, sorry, I'm trying to figure out the best way to present this video still
Great job with the animations, really enjoyed the video!
try not to chamge the thumbnail challenge (impossible)
Don't forget the titles too
Sending this to my boss to explain my messy code...
deja vu
Sorry for the reupload - had an issue with the UA-cam editor cutting off part of the video! I did add a few minor improvements while it was down
45 seconds ago is crazy
a like from my favorite creator will make my day 😗, Lots of love, don't make us wait a year, the gap is too much :)
Thanks for the comment 💜
KONAMI CODE
Are you Polish? In 1:57 you put 69 which is an understandable joke, but apart from that you added 21 and 37 which is a Polish inside joke
I'm British/Australian but that was indeed a purposeful Polish reference ;) Well spotted!
Bwaa!
another awesome video. i love it!!!! thank youuuuu
luv ya xD
