  • beadaholique.com/collections/... - In this video, learn how to make a wrapped wire loop for jewelry making. This basic technique is used when putting a bead on a head pin or eye pin as a dangle or a link, and is more durable than a simple wire loop.

    Great instruction. One thing I like to do after I tuck my little tail or if I'm having trouble doing so with my chain-nose pliers is to use the front part of my crimping pliers-the round-on-round part-to tighten the coil a bit. Cleans up the coil nicely and makes it look a little more even.

    I must just be super dumb because I still cant do it. When I go to make the loop my 90 degree angle that I made completely disappears and looks nothing at all like the products on here. And by the time I finished my wire breaks. I'm using 20 gauge so idk what I am doing wrong but it's getting very frustrating.

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  4 роки тому +10

      Try practicing with 22 guage wire. It may be a little easier to work with while you get the hang of it. Also, be sure to use gold plated or silver plated head pins. They should not break easily. Here is my recommendation: beadaholique.com/products/silver-plated-head-pins-22-gauge-3-inches-25

      My loops still don't look like hers or any other video I've watched so you're in good company! It takes doing it over and over and eventually it will look perfect. I'm getting better. You might try 24 guage stainless steel...it definitely won't break and it's pretty easy to work with.

    Hi must thank you, I have watched what feels like hundreds of bead videos to see if someone could show just a clear & slowly basic technique, which teaches to wrap wire loop that dangles, and bless your heart thank you! I am a beginner, with a eager heart and its so frustrating when you watch most videos and they say its so simple and I know they mean well but, I cant see or understand what they just did? So you have a loyal fan who will watch and learn as long as you put out videos to keep teaching!! hip hip hooray! for Beadaholique!
