There’s a few schools of thought - you’re not likely to damage the block or mortar, even though it probably is a softer assembly than modern block. My belief is that you can’t waterproof something from the inside. That water instead of going through is going to work its way up. On top of that block foundation is the wood framing. . Controlling groundwater from the outside is dollar for dollar the most effective. That can be done with grading and vegetation, or flatwork or gutters. . Id prefer a dimple mat and Perimeter drain, or even a dehumidifier. The key is controlling water from the outside
Lol i know 🤦♂️. It’s a super high profile street, and the asbestos is already documented. We can’t cowboy this one. That being said, it’s not something I want to expose my subs or team to. I’m happy to pay to get it done properly, take my markup, and sleep good at night
amazing video and really enjoying this series!
Thank you, we're having a lot of dun making the series, too! It's a fun way to keep the homeowner in the loop!
Great job!
@@OrlandoTorres-v3m thanks! We appreciate you following along and the support
I understand that drylok shouldn’t be used on rock/brick foundations with lime mortar but how about 1920s concrete block foundation?
