Hugo's Wife

The Mighty Mighty BossTones release the latest "minimalist" music video for "Hugo's Wife" off the recently released studio album WHILE WE'RE AT IT. The song is in homage to bassist Joe Gittleman's grandparents, who were blacklisted in the 1940s/50s-during the “Hollywood Blacklist”-where screenwriters, actors, directors and musicians were denied work due to having alleged Communist sympathies.
The video is filmed by long-time MMB pal Oscar Chavez, a producer and director of photography at Disney/ABC in Los Angeles, and features his son Abel Cruz Chavez. In his youth Oscar played in punk bands and started One Shot Records. The video is directed and edited by Paul Calvary, II. It"
