I followed your video with my new dipstick but the chart I started it this morning and went through the cycling like you said but on my when I dip my stick is set 55 fluid level but it was 80 degrees out here so I don't know if I'm over under
I was also looking for a dipstick to the transmission with no luck. Your video saved me from wanting to kick some dents in it for not being owner savvy
You can use a dipstick from a any chevy truck, to indicate that the fluid level is at full capacity, the dipstick has to read half full or 1 of 2 dots which is full for the 300c hemi
Good video, concise and to the point. If I may suggest a bit more details in your description, like how to remove the "Dealer use only Cap" using CCW motion, type of transmission fluid suitable to top off, where to add the fluid and in what increments, etc. Thank you for all your efforts making and posting this video for UA-cam community.

I found a dipstick for almost 100 dollars..SALE PRICE! Found one less ecpensive, should arrive tomorrow Do these dealers realize how much budiness they can lose by not making the fluid levels owner maintained ? Thankfully, my neighbor works at Auto Zone, and is a decent shade tree mechanic. She pointed me to this site. Now I can be a bit more comfortable with my 2006, " new" car.
Thank you so much for this video. Can I use it on my Chrysler 300 2010 as well? I already had my transmission rebuilt but I had no idea that when I was going to Jiffy Lube to have my oil change that they were not able to check the transmission fluid all this time. I went to the local Chrysler dealer and they told me they wanted $500.00 to check the Transmission fluid as they would have to service it because i's "tubeles". They also made it sound like I would be "breaking" the transmission if I took their cap off and tried o do it myself and they said that they didn't sell the transmission dip stick as the car wasn't manufactured with that. Go figure (I can't stand when they think we're stupid about things). I just got the dipstick from you all for less than $25.00. But where do I need to add transmission fluid I'm sure there's a reservoir or a place to put it in right, if needed and is there a video?
Hi, thanks for your videos, Son of God. Do you have a video making the change of the total fluid in transmission of a chrysler c 300 year 2008 3.5 lt nafta v6? Thank you
wait how much was it it at that temp. seemed like you had way toomuch. im asking because im having trouble getting a good reading in my 2012 jgc. it reads 80mm at 140 which according to the paper is wayyyyy too much fluid.
It's not that hard, remove the serpentine belt, loosen alternator, get a long shaft 1,1/16'' socket and get your sensor from dealer. Take the old out and put the new in, vola!!
Hello..if there will be no dipstick gauge is it okay to measure the atf drained and measure it how many liters pull out and then measure the new atf the same level to the old atf.. thanks

What kind of transmission fluid should we buy for our vehicles? I have a Chrysler 300C 2006. I haven’t used it yet but I purchased a large bottle of Multi Purpose ATF Transmission fluid for mine but I’m not sure if it’s the right one so I haven’t used it yet as I said.
what about the fluid check at 85° celsius? The Chrysler 300 is pretty sensitive when in comes to Trans Fluid Check. It should be right on spot at the certain temperature
Just a heads up, not sure why shop temperature is relevant to the transmission fluid temperature. I just checked mine and to do it you will need a scan tool that reads transmission temperature. I picked up a scan took from amazon for 10 bucks. Gives me transmission fluid temperature. There is a graph you can find online.

NEED HELP! I've been searching all over the Web and keep getting inconclusive results. How much transmission fluid do I initially put in a 2005, 3.5L V6 petrol, before I do the temperature readings and fine tune the amount? This is for dropping the pan, and changing the filter, not draining the torque converter. I've seen results on Google that say to put 7L in initially for a pan drop and 8.1L for a pan and torque converter drain, which seems like a lot!

I was driving around 70mph and turned on the cruise control and my car started skipping o turned it off and continued to skip I slowed down and the skipping stopped is that transmission?
great video, just wondering though, why is it that your fluid level is twice what it should be on the cvt chart? are our transmissions not the cvt? my understanding was that the cars with select shift (side to side gear selector in drive) were cvt... please help as the correct fluid level is crucial, thanks in advance @1AAutoParts
For anyone reading this, NO this transmission is not cvt its a normal transmission. Also i dont know where someone would read that the gear select/auto-stick feature makes it cvt, its just like any shifter that has L 1 2 or 3 gear selections except you can select whichever gear you want to be in. Cvts from what i understand have no gear control as they are continuosly variable meaning its always moving “gear”.
