Circles - Wk1

What are the circles you're a part of? How are they going? Are they life-giving? Are YOU contributing to that? We're going to look at some of the dynamics that Deep Roots of faith contribute to in both Circles of Faith and Circles of Opportunity!
Discussion Questions
1. What's one of your favourite social circles from the past? Why?
2. What are some of the secular conceptions of Christian faith circles?
3a. If Jesus & God are Who they say they are, shouldn't Christian faith circles be the best & most lifegiving places to be? Why are they so commonly not?
3b. If not understanding, or taking for granted what Jesus has actually done on our behalf is one of the reasons, what can we do about that?
4. What things tend to motivate you/stir you up most to care for other people?
5. When you have a though to show love to someone, do 'good works', or encourage someone and you don't...what's the most common reason? (commonly it's due to 'self' or 'they don't deserve it').
this is why verses 19-13 are so important, so we stay focused on what's been done for us...unmerited. (Reread those verses).
6. We need to be intentional about Building each other Up...so get thinking about some pre-meditated love, some good works, and who we can encourage this week!
