Some tips and suggestions from my recent installation. Great product! But the instructions could be better... hope this helps with your installation.
Sync hookup to allow console USB to charge.
Shaker 1000 hookup.

I just got my Dynavin 9 today for my 2010. Instructions are kinda vauge for it as well. Bout to go intsall it. I have an after market sub hooked up to the POS chinese android head unit currently.
Is that a convertible? If so looking to do this in my 2012 GT500 Convertible, but heard the glare is a problem with coupes, I could only imagine what it would be like with the convertible top down…nice install, tips and commentary!
One other question, I can’t seem to find an “8 pro” but only the “8 plus”

Nice mustang! I am also in AB and have been debating on getting this head unit since they had the Dynavin 7 unit. I saw your review on the website and was hoping to be able to get in contact with you to ask a few questions. I have had a few aftermarket head units (cheapies and name brand units) installed in past vehicles that had factory amps and have never really been impressed. I find the sound quality is reduced or there is random static sounds (like you mention 2:40 in the video) or other strange things that happen once moving away from the factory parts. I know its only been a few days since you posted this and we definitely don't have the weather to be driving our cars now, but have you played around more with it? Are you still impressed, is it equivalent to the factory system? Is there any lag adjusting the HVAC controls or anything strange you've noticed?
Cool. I tried a cheapo unit and it sucked. This is pretty much plug and play. Sounds great. Better than factory. I tracked down the mild buzz from the right front woofer. Another person on line has same issue. Dynavin said to unplug the medium sized harness. It’s not needed I guess. Just the RCA cable to the amp out plug. I found the B white one to work. So tomorrow when warmer I’m unplugging it.
The biggest issue was me not waiting long enough for the Bluetooth connection to establish to allow CarPlay. It is not immediate. Takes a couple minutes it seems. Then the phone and CarPlay works fine.
Otherwise it’s great.
Was there any reason you didnt use the extra harness for the shaker system? I used it. My sound is kinda weird sounds hollow but i dont know if its cause of that or i just have to get used to it or mess with the settings
the instructions are sparse so it was trial and error. I did read the extra harness was not likely required, and tried the Subwoofer A line before I found the Subwoofer B line is the one that worked on my system. no harm in pulling a few wires and trying a different option... and see what works best.
what about the microphone for making phone calls? Were you able to hook that up with the original cable?
Used the provided mic and cable. The Sync system is non functional with this unit.
It works well. Mounted on steering column centre.
Also what about the yellow cable already connected inside the 2010 gt premium it’s next to the black fm/am radio wire does it get connected anywhere ?
I think you're referring to the Sirius antenna and I did not connect it.
How did you get the static noise out ?
Never did. Tried a few things. It goes away after a while with key off and is so quiet it doesn’t affect music.
Where is this made? Does this trigger any DTC Code?
Germany but probably contracted out somewhere. No codes triggered

I've owned every kind of head units $200 will get the best backup camera two dash cameras front and rear radio DVD navigation I bought this one for $800 this was garbage the screen looks fake the map looks like cartoon the buttons lag between screens anyone who endorses this is paid to it looks good but is garbage. Fk around and find out. 😊
