As a true crime fan I loved the Dahmer series, I wish more true crime series about serial killers etc were executed like that was, with the flashbacks to his childhood, the victims, how it started and his life in prison etc.
It didn’t make me feel uneasy but the Tony Hughes episode was very upsetting ngl.
I agree!!! It was so well done and yes, when it got to Tony I was so infuriated 😭😭
I have just watched the Netflix Jeffrey Dahmer series too. I thought it was brilliantly acted. I really liked how it focused on the victims, their families and the wider community and also how it shone an unforgettable light on the fact that black and brown people are not respected the same as white, and not even searched for when they are missing the way a white person would be.
EXACTLY!!! When they tried to blame Jeffrey for targeting the minority community in an under policed area… like excuse me whose fault is that?!?! So infuriating I had no idea that happened so I absolutely loved the take Netflix took on this!!
my mum got to the second episode of the jeffrey dahmer docu series and had to turn it off 😭 she also turned vegetarian because of jeffrey dahmer 😭

K but I LOVE the way you set up the projector light, it's giving she's a Supernova Goddess. GIRL, WHY IS JEFF GAINING MY SYMPATHY EVEN 1%? Agree with you, the show was SO GOOD. I expected to be screaming, vomming, throwing up, but idk I really enjoyed Evan Peters' portrayal and the entire cast. All the best nostalgia when you mentioned eating in front of the TV, so 80's 90's early 2000's and I love it. I'm really sorry about your acne medication, I hope it stops f*cking with you soon.
Girl this acne journey is no joke lol but yesss we love eating in front of the tv 😂 and the only people that gained my sympathy were his parents honestly. I felt so bad because his dad tried so hard and nothing worked 😔
@@VNAASMR I def feel you, I feel bad for both his parents tbh. I get the vibes his dad had an idea with the box & the door in the basement, idk it really bothered me when the dad was acting like the mom was all crazy in his memoir & literally outright blamed her as the sole person at fault when he was the one like driving around picking up road kill with Jeff. He wrote in his book that the mom never held Jeff as a baby because she was afraid of germs but the mom has said that wasn’t true & she used to work with HIV patients at a clinic, so there’s just so much about their dynamic that makes me think their toxicity is at fault for Jeff feeling so isolated & not having anyone safe to talk to about feelings. I’m def not trying to solely blame his parents either Jeff is his own person responsible for his actions. Ultimately just really learned a lot about the case I didn’t know before. Such an award-worthy cast!!!!!! 🥹🏆

very interesting book, would like to hear more of it..btw haven't seen the Dahmer series, but i've seen some of the real evidence, don't know if that counts...not too hard to find though if you get into some morbid curiosity mood..

Are you on accutane? Been on it for acne for 6 months and the brain fog was immense. Barely got through my 4th year of uni cause of it.
No i was on something else but I might get switched to this I’m not sure. I’ll definitely make a video but for now I’m changing medication because the symptoms were so bad so I don’t have much to talk about yet 🙊

Yes! I was but my symptoms were so bad I’m getting switched to something else. I’ll definitely make a video about my acne journey because so far it’s not fun😭
