Africa just like other continents has become. In other words, Africa has histories. Thus, if Africa must not live in some aspects of her histories nor adopt them, Africa has the moral obligation to move forward with them in order to make them intelligible. That means to give a sense to these aspects of her histories. Human Rights are a domain where the sense to the history as far as African and especially the so-called Sub-Saharan Africa is concerned finds its necessity.
Slavery has lasted centuries, in other words, for centuries basics Human Rights have been denied to millions and millions of Africans. Millions and millions have been treated with a profound contempt.
Colonization has lasted centuries, and colonization has been an experience of Human Rights denial and a contempt.
With such a history the issue of how to make African Human Rights situation better, finds its answer in making this history a sacred reason to cherish Huma Rights in Africa and a sacred obligation to treat people with dignity.
