May you be blessed over several generations, this video is incredible, it’s been a long time that I was looking for someone to explain me how to have streak in notion. Your explanation where very good. I hope there will be another video explaining how to use formulas in a trackers of habits and in notion globally. It would be very cool to have another property who shows - Best streak this month - best streak of all time - average streak Thank you very much!!!!! (i'm french sorry for my english)
Thank you for this! I have a writing streak tracking page that I wanted to create an auto-updating counter for and this video helped me put that together. I'm using this skill to also create an exercise streak tracker too. I can make all of the streak counters I want now!
I need help. I have transferred everything exactly as explained and checked it several times. However, it does not work. If I uncheck the 0/4 boxes, a streak of 4.6 appears. At 1/4 a 4,4. At 2/4 a 4,2 and so on. It does not matter which boxes I check off. I'm brand new and notion, maybe I'm missing something obvious. I would appreciate help! Thank you, Finn
Hii, first: I looove your videos, second: is there a way to connect the weekly habits with the streaks? I´m trying to find a way for so long but I can´t find one, can you maybe help me?
this is fantastic! 🔥 could you explain how the formula "gets" the last true-streak with "(true,) + (true)$"? how come it doesn't replace all the other "true,"s with ""? 17:01 thank you so much for your content! ❤
I did this in my notion about a month ago and I' super happy with how it works but I have a question. How I can now add a new habit? Can I just do it by adding a new template? Can you explain me that please
You'll need to first add a new entry to the top database (the habit streaks database). Then just create a new template on the habit tracker database and set it to repeat daily so it shows up every day.
Is there a way to adapt this formula to instead display the all-time longest streak you've had ? This way, if you loose the streak you still have your "record" displayed in another formula. I'd love to do that but I have no idea how to.
Infuriating video. I don't need to know how it works, I just want it to work. Wasted 25 minutes of my time, should have just had the formula in the description. Thanks for literally nothing lol

I bestow upon you the generational blessing that my bloodline has granted to outstanding individuals who help us on our journey to Tlalocan 🤲
This is amazing! I have a question though, does the streak continue past 5 days, or does it reset to zero after 5 days have passed with checked boxes?
Yes, the streak will continue forever until it's broken e.g. you miss a day.

ChatGPT could help adapt the code

Sure, try something like that:
lets(
allStreaks, (replaceAll(prop("Checkboxes").map(format(current)) + ",,", "false", "")),
streakLengths, (match(allStreaks, "(true,)+(true,,){1}").map((current.length() - 1) / 5)),
max(streakLengths)
)
