Thanks for this throwback. I spent my semester abroad in Loughborough, and the town and the campus are forever in my heart. I see some new places obviously, but most of it is so familiar. The food stores, The Amber Rooms… We loved the food in Moon and Bell, we went to the Odeon Cinema to see The Queen. Then the train station, from which we would go to Nottingham, Derby etc. And the Students’ Union - it would close the night with the Baywach theme. I wonder if it is still the case:)
Thank you for your comment and sharing your experience during your time at Loughborough! It is always great to connect with alumni and here such stories! All the best.
Hello loved the video its great, can you recommend places to get part time jobs at Loughborough or nearby towns as i recently joined Loughborough for my masters in mngt at Loughborough. Thanks in advance.great video
Hi, thank you for your comment. There are plenty of part time job opportunities, such as becoming a Student Ambassador (See here for my guide on how to become a Student Ambassador: ua-cam.com/video/YN-WL_vsvuM/v-deo.html) as well as several opportunities for work in the town in Loughborough itself such as working in supermarkets & pubs among other opportunities. I hope this helps. All the best.
Hi, yes Loughborough's MSc in International Businees is a very good course and is highly recommended by some of my peers who study the course at Loughborough. For further information on why you should consider choosing Loughborough to study MSc International Business please see here: www.lboro.ac.uk/schools/business-school/study/masters/
Hi! Unfortunately no there is not an Ediya Coffee Shop near the town - I don’t believe there is any in the UK at the moment. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. All the best, Jamie
Don't know whether you'll see this but I was just wondering what takeaways you can recommend! I move in on Wednesday and would love to know your recommendations.
Hi, hope you had a successful move in day! Some of the takeaways & resturants that are popular options are Public & Plants, Baobab Cafe, Tarboush & Fat Buns are just a few from the top of my head. All the best, Jamie

Hi, thank you for your comment. The town is slightly quieter here than usual as this video was filmed during the summer holidays; thus, most students had left to go back home at this point.
wow, I was at loughbough university in 2002 and Echos was really popular then on a Saturday night! Amazing it's still going 22 years later!
If only every uni had someone like you to show me around the area. Really clear, quality video. Cheers!
Thank you very much for your comment, it is greatly appreciated.
Great video! Just an add on there is an Aldi and Morrisons too which are great places to work for
Thanks Kenzie & Yh that’s completely true - there’s also those options in Loughborough outside of the town centre :)
