How a Zac Mid/Top reached challenger

I've played Zac in lane but mostly jungle, with 80k mastery. The issue with Zac in top lane is that most champs(if not all meta toplaners) beat him in an all in, so you have to commit to this short but constant trade pattern where you play around your blobs(sustain) and cooldowns, and also respect the fact that most champs can run you down if you let them.
In jungle Zac can avoid interacting with enemies early on when he is weakest, then start going for ganks when he hits lvl 4 and has some range on his E, or even start dueling when he gets lvl 6 and actually becomes an independent champ.
I haven't really found that big success with Zac in season 11, since AP champs have so much access to penetration while Void staff being cheaper. Anti healing is stronger and cheaper as well, so the whole role of being an AP Draintank is kinda bad, and I consider if he would be better as an AP assassin or bruiser.

Zac must be my most memorable champ of LoL all the way from season 3 till now. I abused that champ a lot in the jungle and actually reached low diamond pretty quickly (didn't have the patience to push higher though). I was really unstoppable averaging around 10-15 KDA on each game. At some point I was top 500 Zac in the world with my stats and kept that position for a couple of months. I didn't really like his rework in 2017 or around that time, the old ult was broken as hell but with the delay in ult trigger it kinda killed the champ for me. I also played it in top, mid and as a support though I didn't find much success there (other than top maybe). Ernie's playstyle really shows what I could have done to perfect that champ in the past.
I only play AP Bruiser Zac Mid. Cool to see someone of actual skill likes the position. I play dominance: Electrocute, cheap shot, eyeball collection, and hunter. I actually play sorcery secondary most games. Gathering storm or scorch, and transcendance or null mag shield. I like aegis into sorc shoes, into cosmic drive, then normally demonic embrace, or whatever is needed that stacks damage and HP at same time. Such as oblivion orb, or Rylais. I'm not scared to build Lichbane 4th if i'm ahead.

Zac actually thought me an Inspiration that he could, and in Theory, fit the role of a Confirmed Fill Champion. He's known to be a Jungler Naturally, He can Gank and Roam really well, so therefore he can Support, back then he was able to Top and Mid was more of a niche choice but with this video, he's able to confirm even further that can actually also do both Top and Mid so that just leaves us with Bot Left. I think Zac is Possible to be an Even Bot, because of how his Kit can be built up. With my quick studying so Far, only finding 2 Zac Supports and 1 actual Zac Bot Video, at least on Paper, Zac can in Theory fit the role of being a Confirmed Fill Champion.
The idea is that you need to be Passive until Level 3, and use your W to help you poke for CS. You take W for Level 1 and Q for Level 2. If you can, try and pressure the Enemy champions, and make them Consume their Potions, this would be important for Level 3, so you can go all-in along with an Ignite to help secure a kill. You could then roam or continue the push, depending on the Situation. Around Level 6 and onwards, Zac can follow the rules of Ernie. I haven't gotten enough studies; just a basis confirmation idea that Zac can Theoretically Bot because of his Kit, but only so long as you are smart with him.
Hope this helped out other Zacs out there that Want Zac in another different role. Just make sure you get enough practice with Zac, and I think you can even go Bot or even Zac Fill.

how much do you try out these picks yourself before making the video btw?
For this video - Zac has been one of my most played for the past 3 seasons and was actually what I got to diamond with for the first time in S7, so I have a lot of knowledge about the champ.
I have not been playing too much zac recently, but I was planning on playing more of the chosen champion for future videos, especially once I start streaming . I plan on playing these unique strategies every day for viewers, potentially a weekly stream series where I see how high I can climb with the strategy in 7 days?

I should also add - the video took about 5 days to make, so thats a lot of watching this guy play + studying why he does it. As with all my videos I try to research as much as possible about the player, their story, how they play and how I can teach it before I even start recording :)

Believe it or not i've seen him play and stream when he was stil diamond in s9 and i was shocked how strong zac was that i subbed and studies his playstyle and now i keep playing mid and top zac mostly mid and im about to climb out of diamond for those still stuck in low elo or even plat up just play zac mid or top if you get auto filled jungler or support just play a game and adjust for that game then use the autofill protection to climb about 3 to 4 games with zac again you can climb 1 rank per day if you play an average 6-8 hours a day and get to another division within a month but you might get hardstucked at diamond to masters cause alot of people plays well there but in low elo go wild bro zac is the most op champ if you understand how he works and how item synergies work with zac last season you just need to buils visage and sunfire and thornamil then buy 2 AP items or death's dance to cap it off just having the sunfire visage powerspike is alreadu enough to 5v5 and win

I've been playing him a lot lately and your videos are really good at given pointers, for example, your Fid video taught me that op LVL 4 jungle path, which I'll begin practicing today to add him to my pool (always loved Fid playstyle, but his weaknesses made it hard for me to really get on it)

Love this video, as a Zac Mid Main. I only Play Zac Mid. Currently have over 1.6M in Zac. Best I've been only at Diamond 3. in TH /Garena server though. Will try to get higher next season.

When I was able to play LoL, before the game had an absolutely inestable ping (I'm from LAS), I tried a bit of Zac top, and it was actually pretty strong. I didn't go into it a lot, because I liked to try a lot of other off meta stuff, like Sejuanji top, or Skarner top, but the little I played, it was certainly worth it.
Zac=First Champ I got lv7 whit,mainly because I enjoyed playing Zac mid FULL AP when Ludens built from a needlessly large rod.
I used to play a lot of Zac top before they changed his ult (I mean now its back to the old one so I guess its fine), but he has a lot of very polarizing match-ups and looses lane to some champions really really hard.

They did nerf lane Zac several seasons ago by making his blobs spawn in more contestable locations. Before he was played in lane more than he is now.

ok but Zac was designed to be a toplane but to to his supreme gank potential with his slingshot he got changed role tto jungle
unfortunately, in this season every champ heals twice as fast with the two highest damage items in the game, which is also the must-get items in the game. I miss when healing was primarily reserved to champions with self heal, and not every champ picking up Sunderer, Steraks, Hydra and BotrK

I played zac mid since I main zac and have only played zac jgl and omg it is broken I have never been able to beat a yone, yasuo, sett or anyone at mid so easily he never loses any trades has tonnes of cc and damage and can roam so much it’s almost impossible to overrun him
I am level 7 zac main with 160k pts and I need to say that, when I play on mid it's really hard early game when you don't have level 6 and you play against aggressive champions. But if you survive, you will be broken af in late game trust me.
Sadly Liadrys And Protobelt are now Both Mythic Items So I can't use them on Zac since Sunfire Aegis is just too good

@@HappyChimeNoises can't the good players dodge the q but not the auto? what am i missing?
If you walk up + q minion - the enemy will just kite you and refuse to get hit. If you q them then you at least have a e.g 25% chance of hitting the Q and thus the pull. Trying to auto a good enemy is much harder - unless they decide to play inside the wave which is simply a mistake Vs Zac so shouldn't be common :)
But yes sometimes Q minion is good too

his abilities cost more health than the blobs give you back
Depends on what Hp you are on. Also sometimes it is worth losing hp if you can also make the enemy lose hp, since you can regain it later with blobs but they cannot
@@HappyChimeNoises You right, at high hp it cost only a little bit more, evening out most of the time though. Even at high health your maybe down 20 health. You go low or mid to 3/4 hp, your definitely out sustaining your opponent since it's 100% giving you more health back especially if your spamming W.

Full AP Zac mid is gross.
Electrocute with Night Harvester > Sorc Shoes > Horizon Focus > Lich Bane - Landing E procs horizon focus, giving the rest of your combo an extra 10% damage. No one expects it and it's so strong.

i find it hard to believe zac being a good solo laner when he is a terrible duelist (one of the worst in the game) and now spirit visage is horrible along with anti heal items being super strong

As a former zac main I can say vieger is super annoying. His stupid cage thing can shut down your team engage slingshots s and it's likely you see him in mid, id recommend banning him.
