    I got a new hydrangea for Mother’s Day! 🥰 The deer keep eating them down, so I’m trying to decide on fencing the property or transplanting them all into the vegetable garden that already has a fence. I would rather spend a whole day gardening than spend one minute in the gym!😂

    Take cuttings of the honeysuckle! They are easy to root. Beautiful garden. Full of inspiration.

    • @TB-cy1wt
      @TB-cy1wt Рік тому

      @Gaye Lorde I have had success rooting them directly from a "parent" stem by air layering. They tend to do this naturally when the stems are allowed to run across the bottom and have a direct connection with the soil. The stem will develop roots and you can prune it out and pot it on.

    What a coincidence! I’ve been buying hydrangeas like a crazy woman recently😂. Recently picked up a Invincibelle Ruby hydrangea. I have already purchased a dark blue Pop Star and a Little Lime. Thinking of adding a Strawberry Sundae to those. I’m building a border garden in front of a white picket fence. Want the border full of colorful blooms.

    Oh those dark pink peonies and the dark purple alliums are my favorite. They really stand out in the garden. I just bought 2 puffer fish hydrangeas in a standard tree form. Can not wait for those big beautiful blooms. That is one of the main reasons I watch your channel because of all the beautiful varieties of color. I am not a fan of light pinks or purples. Give me all the bright colors ! Love the smell of honey suckle. Maybe plant vermillionair for the hummingbirds?

When I moved to this house there were 4 huge peony plants. The flowers used to be huge. Now before they bloom the heads are the size of a green pea. Do peonies age out? If I divide them would that help? Or shall I just throw them out? I really appreciate your time.

    TY for helping me decide on which Invinciball color to choose. I also like garnet, but haven't seen that at garden centers.
    I love nepeta. Yours is so tall, is it Walkers Low? I bought a couple "junior" Walkers Low because I read the original tends to flop and have had 'Blue Wonder' and 'Purrfection.' One is already splitting so I'll either divide it or prune it back.
    I really like that variety of alliums. I have tons of naturalized 'Purple Sensation' that look weak and puny this year. I should divide them.
    Join a gym. Haha! 😆 I started this season so out of shape and kept telling myself to take a walk. I can tell I'm in slightly better condition several weeks into gardening season. But I also need to take a walk.
