jaw-droppingly extraordinary. I absolutely love the song, the singing and the playing.
Richard Dawson is described as a folk artist but this surely the essence of rock n roll. Extraordinary stuff.
He did this song on the BBC show All Shook Up in what appeared to be an empty studio and still gave it absolutely everything. Wish that version was on You Tube as he managed to keep the guitar together right to the end.
A unique talent who should be far better known.

Met Richard at ATP, he's such a nice guy. I have never seen anyone perform with such passion.
I've watched this video many times over the past year, and only just realised how magnificent this bit is at 11:40. Richard Dawson has the right idea.
By the end of this it's like Richard's having a fight with his guitar and losing badly (in the best possible way)
