This is beautiful. You did the story more justice than the actual game. Seeing Sly actually intervene and try to save Arpeggio rather than standing there doing nothing like in the cutscene got me so pumped. Seeing Neyla use Clockwerk's body to torment and dominate him rather than simply snapping the beak shut over him as he vainly demands and tries to conjure up some kind of threat made me hate her even more.
That... was the coolest thing I've seen that's come from that game. Nicely done. I really liked the beginning, seeing the whole villain gang from that game together. Nice.
0:17 and 2:51 you're a monster! How dare you create an amazing character arc and story successfully, and then right when we are too far into investing, pull on our heart strings! He was so close to reaching his dreams of using his wings and flying, to feel the air hit his face as he flew wherever he desired, then he was betrayed by the one he trusted most. That was sad and cold, and it just makes the betrayal actually mean something.
I LOVED Sly 2 when I was younger!!! This brought back so many memories, and also gave Arpeggio's story a lot more depth and details.... It also made the whole story a lot sadder. Thank you so much for making this!! It was so good!!!

The execution of the story was so well done, a perfect representation of Sly 2 and it isn't even my favorite game in the series, it makes you feel so bad for Arppegio, he was doing this for a good reason, even if it meant bringing back the Cooper bloodline's greatest enemy.
This is absolutely amazing. I really like seeing things from the claw gang perspective. As everyone of this villains (maybe not the contessa) all have relatable emotional back stories and are all people in their universe who have hopes and dreams and care from nothing (compared to the empires they’ve created)
This is such a genuinely thoughtful, poignant, and emotional take on a villain’s story. The last shots of Arpeggio futilely backing away from the monolithic Clockla shattered my heart. Beautiful work here, my friend. Bravo.
I......I really don't any words to describe how unbelievable AMAZING this is, I love the character design, the in-depth story of them all, the break-in scene, Neyla's betrayal throughout the story and the look of genuine hurt Arpeggio expresses at the end. Everything is so well put together and this must have taken you DAYS to make! Mh-hmm, what I'm trying to say is that you did an incredible job
Thank you so much for the kind words! It took me 18 days to draw the frames, and about a month before that planning it! So definitely a lot of time aha
God Damn Neila, that no good traitor, playing with Sly's emotions. Glad she got what she deserved, loved the animation, I'm also one of your watchers on DA
Beautiful video. The animation was great and music fit perfectly. Arpeggio was an underrated character and villain and I really wished we got more of him or faced him in some form of a boss battle.
I just finished my first 100% of sly 2 (I’ve played it my whole life but just came back to do a run with all the bottles) and this is the first thing I saw afterwards. This is so real you were so right for this you have a huge brain and I love it thank you for your vision. Also I liked your designs
You added so much depth and expression to Neyla and Arpeggio, it kind of makes the game version pale in comparison. I love your designs and the facial expressions, the last minute especially felt like a punch to the gut. I love this!
After adjusting to the character designs, I find they've grown on me quite a bit, especially Neyla. You did a phenomenal job giving us a flowing visual storyboard/animatic that matches up so well with the song you picked. I think its safe to say that I've rewatched this more times then I can count and I'm beyond glad you decided to make it. Beautiful work!
Neyla's design has really grown on me since I initially designed her. I know some people disagree with my choice to make her a cat instead of a tiger, but I am glad some people appreciate it even so! Thank you for your kind words!
I honestly forgot that arpeggio dies in the game, probably because I never saw it as a death as a kid. This animatic hits me right in my childhood, and it is beautifully well made. I especially love how you drew clockwork, it gave me chills just seeing him once again, and how you made the parts of him rising up and moving was astounding.
Wow! all the effort you put into this has definitely payed off! You brought many shapes to an otherwise one dimensional character from the franchise. I think you single handily made Arpeggio one of may favorite Sly Cooper Characters. :) This Video made my day
It would be incredibly neat if Arpeggio comes back in Sly Cooper 5 (if there's going to be one) as an animal who survived Neyla's ignorant attack while still permanently unable to fly where at first, the guards, including Inspector Fox, arrest him for the crimes he committed previously, but of course, they all forget to mirandize him, so the judge simply lets the parrot go immediately. Soon after, Arpeggio becomes good from now on, knowing there's no point being bad, & teams up with Sly Cooper himself as a playable character we can all control. By then, Arpeggio lives longer than we hoped. That should be perfect.😁
Hey dude I just gotta say this is really fucking good and you should be proud of yourself, this brought back a lot of memories and showed stuff that's not showed in the game. I found that really interesting
Wow I wasn't excepting this to be so good. But my gosh this was perfect. Bro you have what it takes to make a mini series animation of sly, as well as the music just fit with every frame, "flawed design" I found a new favorite song.

Always felt bad for him because he was the mastermind behind everything and just died in his first scene, crushed by a giant robotic beak. I had a dream as a kid that there was a boss fight against him. It was kind of like Dr M’s but on his burning and crashing blimp.
I also have had dreams about boss fighting him! Cept mine were more like Penelope's fight in Thieves in Time where he was in a big mech suit aha Your dream sounds better

@AlfaFilly Simple. It's just that every time film producers, plus, authors, work on something that can fly, they always make them dumb, mean, incompetent, bland, pushed around (especially by the main characters), and severely torn-up in horrible ways imaginable. Same thing they do to flightless counterparts. My point is can we have free-flyers & flightless counterparts who are sweet, intelligent, kind, professionally educational, wise, wholesome, mature, very strong (physically & mentally), peaceful, clean, neatly lucky, & respected?
@@jarviscarr1327 Actually we have plenty of flying character who have this positive traits. -Falcon from Marvel Universe -Soren from "Legend of the Guardians" -Toothless from "How to Train Your Dragon" -Rafael from "Rio" -many characters from Studio Ghibli (like Kiki from "Kiki's Delivery Service")
