a shout out to the actress who played jia fei. she is one hell of an actress! To portray anger, cunning sharpness, feigning innocence, bitterness, and those few moments of sincerity or care. Even the scenes where she's screaming in anger or crying are crazy.
You know what kinda annoys me about Jia Fei's downfall is that she never got punished for her actual crimes and if the emperor had thoroughly investigated he would've seen that something about this set up was not right. Why would Jia Fei use her own dog to get rid of Jingsi or even the prince, for that matter? He should've known it wasn't her, but again like he did to Ruyi and others, he failed to do his due diligence and find the actual culprit.
He wasn’t thinking straight because his daughter died. Still when it comes to the harem he always attacks ruyi and doesn’t consider her sincerity
It's ironic that she was punished for someone else's crimes when she spent so much time framing others tho
@Once you wheein You can’t wheeout Honestly it seems like he never thinks straight. Even later on, when Ruyi was accused of cheating after Ling Yunche saved her and the prince. He was more concerned about how they were saved rather than the fact that they were safe.

我也希望舒妃轉世之後變成的就是五公主啊，因為最起碼我覺得璟兕的命比恆娖公主的命好多了，至少她不用被迫嫁去一個相對偏遠且落後的地方、不用被逼著跟一個不見得有多愛的男人在一起，不用面臨丈夫被殺害、父母又不在身邊的恐懼、不用被殺夫仇人囚禁要脅、不用為了國家利益嫁給殺夫仇人、不用被殺夫仇人扒光衣服強暴、不用懷上一個完全不愛的強暴犯的種長達十個月、更不用面臨跟親生母親分開二十年才能見面的艱辛痛苦，而即使是她的嫡出姐姐璟瑟，我也覺得她的命沒有到多好啊，媽媽在她出嫁之前就死掉，跟一個不愛的男人結婚，遠嫁到一個完全沒去過的地方，然後冒著性命生下小孩，之後就完全不能再生育，還看著老公到處納妾(納妾還只是說好聽一點，說難聽一點就是看著老公到處拈花惹草，自己身為正牌老婆，卻只能忍耐)重點是再怎麼痛苦，也不像現代一樣要回娘家就回娘家、要回家住幾天就開車回家住幾天，以前交通不方便，從北京遠嫁到克爾沁部，可能連初二回一次娘家都很難，再辛苦、跟夫家的人應酬得再累，身為領導者的王妃的她都沒有休息的空間，唯一的價值就是被當成生育工具跟洩慾的工具，還有一個進得了廳堂、入得了洞房的存在，即使再累也不能回去老家休息，即使很幸運可以回去老家，媽媽也已經死亡了，
所以我覺得小小年紀就離開了的璟兕其實真的很幸運，至少她不用面對一個公主成年後要遇到的各種殘酷，而且如果她如願長大了、嫁人了，她嫁人時媽媽應該也早就死去，璟兕能在最可愛的年紀就成為父母心中最珍貴的存在，某種程度上也是「雖然沒有到多好，但至少也不算太差」的一件事，

我想宮裡最幸福的公主應該就剩七公主跟九公主而已了，皇上把公主交給穎妃跟恪嬪扶養生活不會太差。

@@20PINKluvr I know. The movie's director tied up every detail, no matter how small, if there was a string untied, he or she tied it up. And the actress who portrayed Jia Fei was great, as you said . I absolutely loved her expressions when she got caught. The second she got caught, she started thinking of her excuses, and she made them up on the fly.

I don't think disgraces happened because of a curse from Concubine Shu, they happened because of all the bad decisions the Emperor took. He decided to choose the worse women to be his concubines. Just Ruyi, Hailan and Noble Concubine Chun were the only good ones, the rest for any reason were just pretending.
Consort Shu, Consort Ying, Imperial Concubine Ke, Consort Rong and Imperial Concubine Wan were good women too. All of them loved and respected Ruyi. You can see them all and Hailan at Ruyi's funeral, with the exception of Consort Shu and Noble Consort Chun, who were already dead 😢

Jingsi was only 3 years old! How can these cruel woman takes it too far?! But we know that its common among the harem ... jealousy, status, and power and that deadly sin of greed. If the King had done his job and not only investigate matters thoroughly and punish those who committed heinous crimes accordingly then all threats would've been neutralized. OR at least somewhat peaceful ... Jia has a problem with picking fights with her empress and co by running her mouth ... great she bared the most sons and all but she was easily dubbed the most hated concubine, I mean what else can you expect the treatment that befallen on her being an easy target to use in schemes and most importantly the easy person to frame ... that attitude will get you killed

I have tried to think Jia didn't have anything to do with Ruyi's baby getting scared to death by that dog, even with all the hard evidence against her, but I couldn't for the simple reason that she hated Ruyi because her son (Jia's son) broke his leg while horseback riding with Ruyi's adopted son and Jia, even though she was the cause of the "accident" , blamed 1st prince. Therefore (by Jia's twisted way of thinking) Ruyi's little boy should also be injured it just backfired on her and Ruyi's little daughter was killed. Makes you wonder how China became so populated.
Jia had literally nothing to do with this one. I don't know what you are watching.
@@mariag.215 I'm watching the same movie you are watching. And yes, you're right, Jia didn't have a thing to do with it, at least where the dog was concerned. Remember when Yawan worked for Jia? Remember how she (Jia) treated her? Well, the incident with the dog was Yawan getting her revenge where Jia was concerned no more and no less. It didn't concern Ruyi, it didn't concern her daughter or her son (except that her daughter died) or even the Emperor, just Yawan getting her revenge on Jia.
Uh, you know this is a drama right? It’s fiction based off of historical figures. So the whole “makes you wonder how China became so populated” remark is just plain stupid, and xenophobic.
