I felt like it was very arrogant for you guys to charge me charge me almost a $100 on top of the OBD scanner and then it turned out I could only use it for a year I thought it was forever. I'm disgruntled about it...

My car is a 2008 Hyundai i30, would the basic package for the universal scanner identify my engine issues? Getting poor mpg atm. Also it states it’s universal, would this mean literally every car with an OBD port? Or does it mean universal only for Hyundais if I bought that one

If you have a single car license it is not possible to change/add the license to another car in the app. You would need to upgrade to the All Brands license in this case.

@@anjayl I hear you, I ended up buying it and it arrived on Friday. It’s nice for changing some of your cars default settings such as starting in ECO Pro instead of Comfort and making the car bleep when locking/unlocking etc.
I’m no mechanic so I feel like for me its a nice ‘good to know’ tool for when I run into issues and can use Google for research before contacting a mechanic.

If your DPF sensor has failed then you need to get a new one. Carly cannot repair broken sensor.

I bought one and tried using it on a 2011 Camaro it worked to read the codes but once I tried to erase it caused abs and traction control lights to come on. Had to get a good scanner just to get those lights back off.

Hi there! When it comes to the app license as a digital content, you acquire it for use during a certain period of time (the time of your subscription). Basically, you rent Carly software from us for a year and can cancel the auto-renewal anytime, but not later than one month before the renewal date.

I agree. Total waste of time and money.
I ran the scanner (full subscription and OBD universal) scanned 8 faults then a load of shit came up on the dash. Restarted the car (after 5 mins of panic because it would not start) engine light now on and over 60 faults!

Don’t get the negative comments on here, just connected to my Audi A6 2012 and threw up codes that i kind of already knew but has confirmed what i thought and I can repair myself. I bought mine for £47.91 with a deal they were doing and the apps free? Dunno if I have to pay again next year or not but happy so far.
