If the manufacturer's information is not available, the running capacitor's value can be estimated using the following empirical formula:
Running Capacitor (µF)=Motor Horsepower (HP)×7462×π×Voltage (V)2×Frequency (Hz)
Running Capacitor (µF)=2×π×Voltage (V)2×Frequency (Hz)Motor Horsepower (HP)×746
