Homecoming could have at least gave Shocker a mask. They even had it in production

That's because he isn't the comic Shocker (Herman Schutz) but a composite with another character, Jackson Bryce/Montana of the Enforces.
As the producers of Spectacular said that Herman was a bit boring, and that giving the Shocker gear to a cowboy-accent hitman was more interesting.
And in Homecoming they added the two, the first Shocker being a more average man not mob hitman Jackson Bryce, and the other an african american version of Herman.

What I like about homecoming shockers is that they pay homage to spectacular spider-man where Montana/Jackson Brice is the first shocker
It is odd that they kept the second guy named Schultz for the original comics Shocker (But he's not the inventor sadly.) I don't think any of the adaptations had him as the inventor. Maybe the one with Drake Bell or whatever. Oh the 2017 one does have it. Aged down, but an interesting idea.

I liked that as well, though beside that detail and the name they oddly kept nothing about the Jackson Brice/Montana version that made him likeable.
Jim Cummings just IS Shocker for me. He’s got the perfect voice. And I loved him all the time on the 90’s show.
Ironically on The Batman cartoon, Jim voiced a character similar to Shocker called Temblor.
I started watching the series recently and IMMEDIATELY recognized the voice and I agree

It’s funny how on the early cartoons Shocker was set up as serious threatening villain. While the comics have tend to play him in the recent years as comic relief loser like character.
He's mostly a B Tier spiderman villain, spot usually reserved for the weird and senseless ones

@@PhotonDragon16 I doubt it, I think if shocker makes another cinematic appearance it should probably be a new version, another thing I didn't like about him in the movies was he didn't make his own gauntlets the gauntlet he used was made by someone else.

why in spiderman and his amazing friends we see shocker/herman unmasked and without his costume in jail but spiderman the animadet series we dont see him without his mask?
He's jsut some anonymous mercenary in TAS, maybe not even his own suit's inventor. Since everything tech seems to be by Smythe or Osborn in TAS.

So electro becoming black wasnt enough. Nick fury becoming black wasnt enough. Spiderman becoming black wasnt enough. Superman becoming black wasnt enough? Now shocker?
Fury has an exception as the movies are a mix of classic and Ultimate (where he's drawn to resemble Sam Jackson) comics.
And at the end they didn't confirmed that black Superman movie xD
Why does it matter? Most cartoons doesn’t show Shocker’s face? Spectacular used Montana for the Enforcers as Shocker and no two comics has the same look for Herman behind the quilted mask. Some even made him look black before Homecoming, so Shocker’s look or race really doesn’t matter.
The shocker in homecoming was a joke to me shocker has not become a great Spider-Man villain movie wise yet
