His green and yellow lightning costume is so goofy looking because of that mask but I somehow like him in it the most.
It's bright and colorful, giving it a larger-than-life presence. Plus, it clashes with Spider-Man's red and blue color-scheme. The starfish mask is kinda silly but every attempt to "update" his design has only made him look sillier. Sometimes he's a Doctor Manhattan wannabe, sometimes he looks like an ugly green scuba-diver, and other times he looks like some disfigured bald guy. I used to think Electro's design was silly but the fact no one has been able to truly replace his classic design only proves how timeless it is.

It’s just iconic and fun. I think if a movie wants to pull off the look, they have to embrace the silly and make him a low level threat. A goofy guy trying to run with the big guns but he’s just laughable
And I will certainly take it over that generic and ugly-looking Ultimate look any day. 😅

MTV Electro did the character best. Instead of being some rando who got zapped due to some accident, Max Dillon was just a kid who wanted to make friends. He got humiliated, and in his turmoil, he thought that a sign was calling to him, before being duped again. And in his rage, he threw a bottle at the sign, completely unknowing of what would become of him...
