Wait. By italian jingle you mean the jingle for Renfe? It's spanish actually and italy has trennitalia wich doesn't have a jingle. Sorry for me behing a nerd. :/
I believe this is MÁV's jingle for trains of lower categories (személyvonat - stops everywhere, sebesvonat - stops almost everywhere, gyorsvonat - stops only in more important stations but more often than an InterCity and a train of this category usually offers less comfort). They also have one used only for InterCity/RailJetExpress and one used only for EuroCity/EuroNight trains (the one you used at 0:24 is the older version of that jingle). Here's a video containing all three: ua-cam.com/video/4LpJvD8W0Oc/v-deo.html . Thank you for making this video, it brings back memories. 👍
I love how relaxing russian railways jingle sounds, like, you're waiting for your train and you're so happy and relaxed at the same time... I love that feeling😊
It sounds calm and beautiful when you watch it at home on UA-cam. But when you on station, it's comes from station cheap speakers, reflects from walls and it's sound harsh. But it do their job - bring attention. Next step: recognize what announcer says.
The first one by Nederlandse Spoorwegen in The Netherlands was also used as a PA jingle on the Class 700 Desiro City EMUs used on Thameslink in the UK.
@@Mhmd_F I'm pretty sure the first two chimes are used for automated Aviavox announcements in a number of airports around the world. Since the company is Dutch, I wouldn't be surprised if they also worked on a similar system for NS, and used a similar jingle.

0:00 this is also the chime for the Thameslink line, in and around London. Usually followed by “we’re sitting at a red signal, hopefully we’ll be moving shortly.”
It’s interesting that the NS jingle can also be heard on Jakarta’s brand new light rail, LRT Jabodebek. I bet there are some Dutchies or former NS staff who contributed to the LRT project 🤔
The SNCF one is nostalgic, but I also like the old TGV arpeggio chimes. The final chord is wistful and does not resolve, leading to some intrigue. It really catches your attention.
JR East Actually, there isn't just one station melodic jingle, there are many, even the Tohoku, Niigata, Aomori, Sendai, Tokyo areas have their respective station melodic jingles.
You're absolutely right, and I apologize for the oversight. JR East (East Japan Railway Company) indeed has a wide variety of station melodies for different regions within its network. Each region or line might have its own distinct jingle to identify the stations. For example, in Tokyo, there are different station melodies for the Yamanote Line, Chuo Line, and other lines. Similarly, areas like Tohoku, Niigata, Aomori, and Sendai each have their own unique station melodies that reflect the local culture and atmosphere. These station melodies have become an iconic part of the Japanese railway experience, making it easy for passengers to identify their destinations and creating a sense of familiarity for regular commuters. If you're interested in listening to these station melodies, you might find recordings or videos online that showcase these jingles for various JR East regions and lines.

Great selection of railway jingles❤
The old ÖBB jingle is also used on some BDZ (Bulgarian State Railways) trains, for some reason. I honestly speculate that it's what came programmed into the trains and they just didn't change it.
Some SKPL units in Poland still play the old DB sounds. I think nobody bothered to change something that works well enough
The old ÖBB jingle is much nicer than the new gong :(
Fast train number 459 from Tambov to Adler, will be arrived to the 3rd track. The numbering of carriages begin from the 1st carriage 🥰🇷🇺
А в Москве говорят "express train" и "start from the head of the train"

Listening to the jingles is so calming❤
Little fun fact: the SNCF means the National Service of Railroads. Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer.
Technically it is Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Française, not to be confused with Société Nationale de Chemins de fer Belges / Nationale Maatschappij der Belgische Spoorwegen.

In Switzerland (SBB CFF FFS) is different from region to region (German, French or Italian)!
I know about the CFF🇨🇭because i live un Switzerland i know the SNCF🇫🇷 because it’s famous i know the Brussels STIB Metro🇧🇪 too because i lived in Belgium🔥!
SBB uses the notes (E B B) because (E)s (B) (B), CFF uses (C F F), and FFS (F F E). The notes are the letters of the name!

0:00 this is also the chime for the Thameslink line, in and around London.
Usually followed by “we’re sitting at a red signal, hopefully we’ll be moving shortly.”
My favorite ones in those :
1. East Japan Railway
2. Korea Railroad Corporation
3. SNCF (France)
4. Comboios de Portugal

It's the PA jingle not the departing jingle
@@wastetraygaming Actually, almos all stations outside of Tokyo area does not have these approaching sounds.
