NGL, you did pretty good, for someone who's new to the game! As someone whose intimately familiar with this game, however, I quickly got annoyed with how you didn't seem to know that Mega Man, like Castlevania, was ALWAYS a series that prided itself on difficulty. So....I actually turned down the volume on my TV to 0, while still watching you play through as much as you did. Guess that shows how great a game Mega Man 2 is, that I'll stick through with garbage commentary, if it means I get to watch the game in a way I've never seen before! ^^ Still...imagine how amazing something like....Pokemon Black and White would be on something like this. IDK if the DS will ever get an equivalent to this made, but...I'd buy my own headset in an instant to play that...
@@mamefan Well, you’re missing out! The Switch games may not be the best, and the anime isn't really something I'd recommend either...but I'll die on the hill that certain Pokemon ROM hacks are among the best video games ever made. Stuff specifically like Radical Red, ROWE, etc.
Was only interested in seeing how Mega Man 2 looks like in 3D and so far I like it (plus kind of interesting to watch; it's that struggling we all had as kids, I guess). MM2 has been my first and only entry in the series I got as a kid and even though I've never beaten it without Game Genie it's still one of my most favorite games of all time. And the soundtrack… if you haven't done so yet, I'd totally recommend to sit through and play it, use a guide, if you have to, because the soundtrack alone is worth it; just amazing for its generation (and still beats many later games IMO). Overall I think the game should be played a bit more zoomed out, you're creating way more blind jumps and surprise enemies than there actually are. PS: For the platform section at ~22:00: That's a perfect use case for the Leaf Shield once you're moving on the platform.😉 It's mostly a game about remembering patterns and which weapons are best in which situation (read: Metal Blade beats almost everything). The rectangular loot from enemies refills the currently selected weapon (if not just the P buster thing). PPS: You actually played "Normal Mode", i.e. the easier mode they added for western players with fewer enemies and fewer health/mechanics on enemies. Also I'm pretty sure there were at least one or two later Mega Man games for MAME, too.
I don't see it as being supported. If it isn't on these lists, I can't do it. steamcommunity.com/app/954280/discussions/0/1643170903498517164/ steamcommunity.com/app/954280/discussions/0/3183487594853760099/

I've also never played a Pokemon game or seen an episode of the show in my life.
