That’s a great idea with the rope bridge incorporating both techniques on it! Really interested to see how the gravel pit turns out and to see the finish result!! 😄👊🏻
That is super cool dude, I just brought some hamster bridging, round logs with stiff wire run through them you could bend and shape them anywhere you want, Got six sets of them but they are only 4 inches wide but still will work. Appreciate you sharing I’ll be following for the rest
Hey there @WahlBoys Adventures! On this module of the course, I only used less then 1 can. I use it sparingly and allow for the expansion of the foam before continuing on to maximize my coverage for each can! Thanks for checking it out and stay tuned as I have been working on several new pieces for this course! Have a good one!
Thanks for checking out the channel! I picked these up from my local Hobby Lobby store. I have also seen them at my local RC shop as well in the model train environment section. Have a great one!
Your obscacles look nice but you can do so much better and save yourself money by changing your materials. No need for expanding foam. All kinds of trash like the paper, crushed cardboard, melted plastic containers and free white polystyrene packing foam. So much trash no need to buy this stuff. If you want real looking surfaces stop buying spray paint and hobby supplies and get that stuff out side. Dig your own dirt, gravel and moss. Why would you buy that stuff when it is every where for free? For paint and surfacing you can dip paper in dilluted white glue to drap on. Use hot glue to stick broken white foam pieces togeather and stuff paper into bigger holes to fill them. Use acrylic paint, apply it thick full strength as a base coat then sifft plaster powder, concrete powder and your natural dirt on it and let it dry to make the base shell. Then you use dilleted acrylic paint and a brush to do layers of colour washes and siffted dry material to make a much more realistic look. This also makes a naturally rough grippy surface you can sifft dry dirt on to make trails. This surface will naturally wear so you reapply as needed and the course naturally changes over time. Yours is a good start and you can easily make it more natural for very little money.
