Dodging sprays using the rudder sometimes feels like you're playing Matrix with airplanes. Personally, what gets me in most dogfights is that if the other airplane reduces throttle, I always overshoot. 😅 New subscriber by the way, already waiting for Jeff's video! Have a good day!
Yeah for new players it’s tough, not everyone is in the same position as me, which is why not everyone can just experience what I can, a shame but a prospect to look forward to.
@@RoachEatsVipers I think the Gripen out performs too! (Though marginally) But the defining factor in my awe for the J-10 is simply the turn radius, the Gripen gave me that feeling, and now the J-10 also! Both are great in their own right… now we just need the Typhoon and Rafale!
How do I go into cockpit view on War thunder. Unfortunately only just purchased Meta quest 3s so ordered flight sticks and pedals but won't be here for a few days so I'm using xbox series x controller. Does this make cockpit view disabled?. Any help greatly appreciated before I get deep in this game. ❤
You can press a button to change view don’t worry, however if you play SIM, it ONLY has the cockpit view :) you will most likely need to set up your joy stick however.
Can I ask you a question how do you play war Thunder in VR Are you supposed to use the quest controllers Or do you use the keyboard in mouse cause I don't know if the quest controllers work for the game
An upcoming Gaijin Game called Aces of Thunder will allow you to use controllers (though limited aircraft selection) War Thunder VR doesn’t have VR Controller support, so you will need to use an input device on your PC, so usually, a Mouse and keyboard, games controller or what I use personally, a HOTAS system. Hopefully this helps :) Edit: Side note, I think for quest users, you’ll definitely need to link your headset to the PC to get the most out of it, via a Cable.
@ConjointVR just reading this thankyou for replying to this fella thanks. Means my question is also answered about vr mode . I've hooked up a xbox remote as the key control is frustrating. I'm getting the sticks and pedals so hopefully then vr mode it is. Oh also I use air link and my pc hooked to an WiFi link extension using ethernet tucked into the gaming router I'm getting great fps. Just want the realism a bit more .
