The Packers offensive coordinator said he wants to get Lloyd on the field as much as possible. So I don’t think it’ll be much of competition between him and Dillion he’s better player imo.

They have to play before that decision is made. AJ could be in the best shape of his life ready to run for 5ypc. You have no idea. That’s why camp exists

Lloyd hasn’t played a single snap. He has fumbling issues and isn’t good at pass pro. Let’s pump the breaks and wait to see how camp turns out

Although I don’t have concern now either, Wouldn’t Loves contract become an issue if it’s not done before preseason? One could say it’d be complete malpractice on his camp to let him play in live action on his current deal.

The Green Bay Packers Are poised for an offensive eruption in the 2024-25 NFL season, with our offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich at the helm, orchestrating a versatile and dynamic attack. The Packers offense, brimming with talent, is set to challenge opposing defenses with a multifaceted game plan each week. With the dual-threat capability in its arsenal, Green Bay is expected to diversify its offense, leveraging our running back Josh Jacobs ground game prowess alongside quarterback Jordan Love’s aerial connections with key receivers Christian Watson and Jayden Reed. This balance promises to keep defenses guessing and offers Green Bay numerous pathways to scoring. Coming off of a previous season filled with uncertainties about its offensive capabilities, the Packers face fewer question marks this year, except for one significant area of interest: the composition of the offensive line. However, with ample time to address this through QTA’s and training camps, confidence remains high. Our General Manager Brian Gutekunst has a proven track record of unearthing young talents in the NFL Draft, contributing to the optimism surrounding the team’s potential. Among the fresh faces is USC’s standout running back Marshawn Lloyd, picked in the 3rd round of the 2024-25 NFL Draft. Marshawn Lloyd, anticipated to secure the 2nd spot on the Packers runningback depth chart, showcases an eye-catching college performance that includes 820 rushing yards, 9 touchdowns, and an average of 7.1 yards per carry over 11 games. His ability to make plays both in the running and passing game adds a layer of depth to Green Bay’s offensive strategy. Adam Stenavich expressed his eagerness to incorporate Marshawn Lloyd into the game plan, highlighting the rookie’s unique speed and playmaking ability as components that could introduce an explosive element to the Packers offense. Marshawn Lloyd’s integration is expected to complement Josh Jacobs effectively, offering a fresh alternative that maintains the momentum of Green Bay’s running game while adapting to the pace of NFL. The Packers offense, with its rich tapestry of talent and strategic acumen, is set to be a formidable force in the 2024 season, promising a thrilling spectacle for fans and a challenging puzzle for adversaries. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

How's the idea that McGough makes the team as WR6/7, special teams, and emergency QB? Being a Swiss Army knife may not be glamorous, but it might get you a roster spot.

Aj Dillon is a top 10 pass blocker if you go off of PFf. But Emanuel Wilson looked to promising to cut last year. No matter what it's going to suck losing one of them.

To me we use Dillon wrong in the run game. We use these slow developing run plays, misdirections slight delays. He needa to be able to get downhill so he can break through contact hes pretty easy to trip up before he gets going

I think Lloyd should get plenty of snaps in the early part of the season, but later on when it’s colder we should feature AJ Dillon more. That way he’s fresh and we can have that into the winter and a playoff push

I think it is odd that so many people think a team with one main back will do well. If you look at NFL history, teams with a top 5 in yards running back tend to lose in the post season. They rarely make it to the Super Bowl and have only won it twice. The numbers are far below just random luck.
The Packers have running back by committee. It isn’t going to be one or the other. It will be a rotation.
Dillon is also an excellent receiver and blocker.
