Would you recommend these for unfinished attics & garage spaces? I am looking for a device that will alert me & everyone throughout the house if there is ever a fire in an unfinished garage or attic, where there is dusty insulation and the temperatures are naturally very hot in the summers. I live in phoenix az & attic temps rise to around 140-150F during daylight. The issue I've found with all other alarms on the market is that attic insulation dust sets off false alarms with smoke detectors. So it is generally recommended that heat detectors be placed up there instead, but i have yet to find a heat detector that i can wirelessly interconnect with an alarm system throughout the interior of the house.
