    Yet another brilliant tutorial on human skull destruction by Master Lee. Did you see Craig's entire body shaking after the strikes to the pad? Badass!

    I liked the rubber training band concept. Much better than those little dumbbell weights from the older days. It really works! I also like the early Matei Florin “Tribe” shirt.

    Lee can I ask your opinion on teaching to throw a punch with a small half kilo weight in the hand wraps.
    This was a great topic.
    I've only ever had one trainer ever raise the topic of fast and slow twitch fibers during training. This is exactly why I have my daughter's watching your topics as well not so many people on here who actually teach to this level that you do. Absolutely brilliant channel.
    Hope you have a great Christmas and better new year. All the best from the Highlands 🙏

      Thank you very much for your kind words! In regards to throwing a punch with a light db, the path of resistance does not mirror the same as a band or cable, because there is a drag downward on the shoulder as you punch out at the end! Where as the band or cable is following the same linear path that you are actually striking out of! Now you are building your explosion under resistance on the exact same linear path that you hit out of, if that makes sense!

    I am almost 70 and already discbled beforehand. I was injured at the VA hospital by police pro built like you with both palm heels lifted in to my cordoids below collar bone. Sent off my heels and over chairs and table >7 feet. No way expecting anything, my hands were at my sides. I need to show video for court how much damage it causes. Besides whiplash and elbows and spine hitting things on the way over chairs and table. Hard to reenact actually dummy like me. Seems breaking boards is too easy. I weighed 200 5'8"

    Why is a palm strike preferable to using a traditional clenched fist knuckle punch?

    • @paulatreides0777
      @paulatreides0777 3 роки тому +3

      Because you can break a knuckle easily on some bruisers skull.

    • @danielskipp1
      @danielskipp1 3 роки тому +4

      Would you punch a wall? Skulls are hard. Plus punches bounce off more rather than dwelling on target [for KO] and can't immediately turn into grabs, and they have less sensitivity.

    • @daniel-zh9nj6yn6y
      @daniel-zh9nj6yn6y 3 роки тому

      I agree with the previous comments. Another reason is that, in some countries, self-defense laws are poorly written. Police will check your knuckles. On camera, palm strikes look like you're pushing the attacker.

    • @danielskipp1
      @danielskipp1 3 роки тому

      I forgot that palm heel strikes actually hit harder than punches. Yes, that's scientifically confirmed. The bones of the hand absorb force and waste the energy.

    Palm heal strikes rule,not good messing up ones firsts on boney areas,a tooth in ones knuckle is worse then a venome bite.

    Geez, think of the facial reconstruction you'd have to go through after copping one of those.
