Even I’m Vietnamese myself but when I watch this video it’s like “Oh wow, this is my beautiful homeland, really?” 😲🥺🥰 Vielen lieben Dank Richy 🙏🫰❤️❤️❤️
I greatly appreciate the introduction to Ninh Binh. For me, this is the most beautiful tourist destination in Vietnam. It will be great for you and your family to explore by bicycle here.
Going to Vietnam in May which will be an even 12 visits. First in 2001 and last in 2018. I loved the beautiful and evocative images you gave us plus the shots of your girlfriend walking away from the camera. But I will say your images show how much Vietnam has grown. In 2001 there was not a coast road to Hoi An which had gravel roads and not a bridge over the Thu Bon River.
For Westerners, most of them are most interested in Ha Giang Loop, Ha Long Bay, Sapa and for East Asian countries (Korea, Japan, China) are Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc.
nice video! we are traveling vietnam with our drone for 3 months and capture some remote places too! happy to see you liked your trip! excited to see more!
Wow!!! It was breathtaking to see the views and landscape with wonderful capturing. Great work Richy. I wish you to get much more subscribers going forward. Keep doing it regularly. You’ll definitely reache 100k soon.
Crossing intersections in Vietnam looks like quite the adventure! Did you find it got easier as you went along? Can’t wait to hear more about your street food tour!
Hey Richy, amazing content I agree you need more subscribers for the quality of content you're putting out.. lovely video cant wait to see more.. I cannot wait to get back to Vietnam in 2 months and shoot some more videos.. all the best and good luck
Hi Richy, I am from Bangladesh. Your Vietnam document is an awesome document. Do you have any assistant or a single traveler for Vietnam? I am a member of 822 of you.
Hello, so beautiful! I've read that you went in december. Since it says on the internet that December is a very wet and rainy month to visit Hoi An, how did you organize for that? Did you check the weather before going? Did you have a plan A and plan B?
Thanks! We didn’t had any rain in Hoi An and also did not had a plan B. As far as I can remember is it also more dry season as you go south of Vietnam. Only north Vietnam can get cold at this time of the year
Hello from Australia, I can appreciate the time and effort you put into your vids. especially the time taken with editing. A couple of suggestions..... Firstly you need to work on your Audio, with your accent its very hard to understand what you are saying and its abit muffled, secondly please try and add as much info as you can to help other travellers. such as ..How much is the train from Hanoi to Ninh Binh ???. Where do you go to catch the Boat Trip in Ninh Binh ????. How much does it cost ???. How long does it take ???...... Where did you stay in Ninh Binh ???? How much did it cost per night ???. All these sorts of things help other travellers. Great pictures though. Keep up the good work just add more info. Thanks. Max.
Hey Max, thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. Regarding audio, I agree. I just got a microphone so lets see if this will help in noisy, windy conditions in the future. I dont agree though that people dont understand what I am saying because of my accent ;) Regarding extra Information...I understand thats interesting for a lot of people and I might add additional information in the description from now on, so thanks for the tip. However, I think mentioning all these "hard facts in the video", take a little bit away the main purpose of why I am doing those videos (mainly for me as a memory). Best, Richy
Hi Richy. Impressed you navigated Vietnam so well, better than me and I speak a bit of Vietnamese lol. Wanted to ask how you knew to book those private moped and boat rides along with being able to rent a bike? Finding access to those greatly open up the number of experiences.
Thanks! It was actually pretty straight forward. For the Boat tour you just went there, no need to reserve anything before. The moped tour was arranged by the hostel and booked one day before. And the bikes where just part of the hotel we stayed in Trang An so we could just take them all the time we wanted ;)
Do you have a list/comments on which hotels you stayed and would you recommend? We are also going for three weeks next June 🙂 had been postponed thanks to covid! 😞Can I just say I felt this was a little rushed and we didn't get to see much - #whistlestop 🙂
We booked it on 12go.asia. Everything went smooth, so can recommend it. It was the VIP wagon (2 beds)which costs 245€ (from Ninh Binh to Da Nang for 2 persons). Not all trains have this VIP option . You have to look for the Laman Express wagon. First class is cheaper but it will be 4 bed wagon so likely you will share it with others (unless you are traveling with 4 persons obviously)
Ricky, I would like to suggest that you edit the subtitles on your videos. I'm having a bit of trouble understanding you because your voice is low and the music is high. So, I am watching with subtitles. However, the subtitles contain a lot of errors. It's pretty easy to edit those in order to make sure they are accurate. It might also be nice if you lowered the volume of your music and increased your vocals. Good luck!
Yea true. It really depends on the device I think On my laptop it sounded ok . But thanks for letting me know . Will be paying more attention to that in the next video
Nice video and appreciate that you are promoting Vietnam. The only thing I could not justify was the soundtrack in the background that was not Vietnamese at all. It might sound Oriental to you and make sense to generalise, but imagine Alpine folk music as a soundtrack for Italian hilly Rome. That would be a bit out of place, don’t you think? Our Vietnamese cultural DNA is quite present in our music, the vibrancy, the rhythm, the choice of instruments etc. So it sounded a bit inconsistent to me watching this video. Other than that, all was fine.
I agree but as you said it’s hard for a foreigner like me to distinguish so I just use what feels for me right. I did not want to be disrespectful and mix up things. So I try to be more cautious about it

Im enjoy watching your video but where did you get the music background from? The music is more China than Vietnam. Just saying as a Vietnamese i just heard them sounds from Chinese’s movies.
Thanks! I got the music from epidemic sound. Unfortunately it does not often say where its original from, so sorry if I used a song from another country, that was not my intention. I just tried to find something which fits to the scene (which is sometimes not that easy)

Hard to generalize as we flew over Christmas and new years .
