I remember getting inside the car with my mom when I was so young and I would say mom where are we going?
Mom would say I dont know yet honey lets just see where the road takes us. I remember how excited I was. Mom just had to take every country back woods road she came upon. Mom wa a true explorer with a wide varity of friends because of her exploritory mind set. I had some amazing times with my mom. We found little farms nobody knew existed we found tiny litte diners in tiny little towns. My favorite was a place called chicken and dumpling diner and chicken and dumplings was the only dish they made there along with pies and other deserts and some salads . They made the best chicken and dumplings I had. ever eathen in my life. Some of the ligts on the sign went out and now when people drive by the sign says chick dump cafe. Its rellly funny but all the locals love that place and asked the new owners to keep the sign the way it is so it's sort of the joke of the town when you drive there. Its is really funny to see when you drive into that tiny little town,
Such a sweet comment! I take my kids on road trips too - I don't know that they always appreciate all the little things, but I know they appreciate some of them. I'm sure your mom would feel joy in her heart to know how vividly you remember your trips with her.

Dude, loving the vibes of this video. The voiceover, story-telling aspect really brings it all together. I've never been out to Wyoming, definitely on the "to do" list." I can definitely relate to the (solo) cross country drive, went from MA to TX and back at the end of 2015. Surreal, wish I had filmed more rather than just take photos. I'm so sorry about Jack. ❤ You gave him your love and I'm sure a good life. We can never give them as much as they give us, and I've loved all mine with all my heart. Yes, I know what it's like.....I've had 11 dogs and now have 2 more I've adopted. All have died in my arms.

Soon as I lose one, I would go out and rescue another 1, 2, or 3. I didn't and don't want them to die in some rotten kill shelter, alone, without love. When you first told us about the loss of your dog, most of us thought it was Hudson, Hoot, Hud....I remember I wrote you some words then....not too long ago. Have been addicted to your channel before the first video I watched was even over. Love your work. Just love what you do, love your voice, writing, and your spirit. Gorgeous filming! I love this channel, super groovy. I dislike it when the negative attitudes leave icky comments, it's so unneeded. That said, does this host want feedback -- creative feedback (not negative and grouchy beasts that have no life, or couth)? I love what you are doing. I am no expert in way you do, but I am an expert on my gut responses to films, film shots, dialog, etc. How it really sounds right off the cuff. I think that stuff is valuable for artists in your genre. I also (side note) endured Wyoming (there's a story...)!
