I advise anybody to get in good with your DM so they will get you a pre plan every time, also tell them you want to drop and pick up everyday. Also read the contract to see if there is a clause to where you can pick a load off of a load board if they can’t get you anything. Lease purchase is good if you can pick your own loads if dispatch doesn’t come through. Good luck and keep trucking and do whats best for you and ignore the nay sayers.

Be safe out there, o I ran with a fluorescent black light, positioned it overhead behind my seat. It was good lighting that kept me up on those late night runs. Definitely a portable potty with gallon of water and blue chemical treatment packs used in construction area portable potties. Keep it under my bunk restrooms are even harder to find than parking.
I wonder if they let you find your own loads off load board a iPad and hotspot can almost replace your dispatcher. If they weak in an area be your own boss and learn that lane to add to your bag.
I’ll be like I found a load book it for me here is broker info. Good way to find a hustle inside a hustle. If you come across empty pallets don’t forget local pallet companies buy pallets from you at $1.50 to $4.00 a pallet and those were 1990 prices.

Western Express, will have you wantin to throw hands at someone. I worked for them, for a yr. Then went to JB Hunt. Nothing but a stepping stone for something bigger and greater.

Have you thought about doing household work that can keep you working United Van Lines, kept me running like crazy. Maybe Flatbed work might better for, but you will work out loading and unloading your trailer and sometimes in the rain and snow, and the heat.

I’m lease purchase at US Xpress and I’m on a dedicated route from NC to Ohio and I make on an average weekly around 3400 miles a week

Hey bookie yes I been left them it’s not that they were a bad company it’s they was making me go out with a trainer for 21 days they had me waiting for a trainer for a month half so I got tired of waiting and quit came over to WE get my 3 months recent experience then I’m gone. Gonna start looking for a better company to run for.
