2021 YZ250X GYTR Flywheel Install and First Ride

The boys and I went to pipestone, MT on 4/17/2021. Lost a bit of footage so scrapped this together.
I really enjoyed the new flywheel. Pulls very well and lugs better. Only stalled the bike once during this ride. This was my second ride on the bike so still some fine-tuning to do.

Don’t use rtv on that. Also, the cover is designed to drain any water. Look at the bottom of it. It’s cut out to drain water. No sense in rtv anywhere on the entire engine except the case halves. Cool bike!

I was having the same issue with neutral going from 2-1 using maxima gear oil, and to a lesser degree the specified yamalube trans oil. After switching to rotella t4 15w-40, I no longer catch neutral shifting from 2 down to 1. Not sure if it just needed time to break in but if you’re still having an issue might be worth a try.
