I get St. Louis is young, but they traveled better than almost every fan base in MLS this year, had some incredible tifos frequently, sell out every single home match, and are housed in arguably the biggest soccer city in the US. Not including them at least in the conversation but instead putting them in the thumbnail for “worst fan bases” is absolutely astounding😭
Hey there! we kept the thumbnails and video largely based off of majority opinions and our own takes. My opinion on St Louis is actually very high, I think they are a great club with great fans. The rest of the league seems to hate you guys. I saw a list claiming STL to be the most annoying fanbase, which I DO DISAGREE WITH DO NOT WORRY lol. But yes you are right, I should have included them in the honorable mentions
@@AlwaysHalftimeWhose opinions? I want names! Kidding but I am curious how you guys came to your conclusions. On a side note, I'm excited to know that we may have license to use the old "No one likes us, we don't care" chant at our matches this season. 😆
@@adamb6033 I'm actually a fan of SLC's fans. Maybe cuz Soccer Zombie has done a lot to expose the vibrancy and passion of the fanbase. I love watching a fanbase grow organically like that, and embrace the ability to shape the fan culture of a club that'll hopefully be around for generations.
We mentioned the Crew as an honorable mention as this list was only top 5. If this list was a top ten, I can assure you a team as notable and passionate as Columbus would have been #6
I love NYC FC and am a proud member of the Third Rail, and I absolutely adore the community that's built around our team...but, we're definitely not the biggest MLS fanbase (certainly compared to any of our fellow NYC sports teams, including the duo of football teams outside the actual city - hell, there's even a case to be made that Gotham is almost on our level. But never the Dead Bulls!), and while I think our new stadium in 2027 will help with that, since it'll be easier for more people to attend, I understand us not even getting an honorable mention. No arguments about this list. I've had nothing but positive interactions with the fans listed here, and they're always welcome at Citi Field (yay!) or Yankee Stadium (blech). ¡Vamos Los Celestes!
@@SuperJNG18 Hey there! Fellow NYCFC fans here, and not adding them as a honorable mention was hard! Once that stadium is built, they’ll be a top 3 fanbase!
While I don't meet many outside fans (just cause I don't really have an interest too, which is a pain when we're traveling and drinking in bars) I know many people hate coming to NYCFC games. Outside the stadium, besides the Third Rail, pretty much every other one of our SG's may just give you an issue. I remember seeing a Revs fan going towards our supporters section and I warned him like I wouldn't keep going over there and someone tried snatching one of his scarves before even making it to 236-237. Was probably going to meet someone from the Third Rail. Don't think he lost anything that night but was definitely not cause there wasn't an attempt.
LAFC has the worst fans ive ever witnessed. The ones that traveled to MLS Cup in Columbus were terrible. The supporters were sitting on the second level above us. I was at the game with my 5 year old daughter. When LAFC scored, over half of the fans started throwing/pouring beer and trash down on Crew supporters. While I was trying to shield my daughter, i looked up and two guys poured beer right onto both of us. They then both gave us the finger and then the guy next to them threw a hotdog and ketcup down. Myself and daughter were completely soaked in the cold weather. Of course she was crying and i could hear the couple guys laughing at her. Now she doesnt want to go back to watch the Crew play again because shes scared shes going to get hurt. Ive never seen fans more disgusting than LAFC supporters. They were also terrible during Leagues Cup final. Really hope those fans enjoyed watching losing two trophies in quick succession.
It was more than a few bad apples. It was the majority of fans that traveled to Columbus. I was only speaking of the two that did that to my daughter and I. But we were not the only ones it happened too. Can't remember where I saw the video but someone posted a video of what happened after LAFC scored. You can see almost the entire section start throwing crap down over the balcony.
There's absolutely no excuse for that but I have to question your ownership's decision to allow visiting fans in the home end. I know the upper deck isn't technically considered the supporters section but they should have been smarter than that.
@@adamb6033 pretty sure ownership had nothing to do with ticket sales or anything for MLS Cup. The league controls all of that. That's why it was a complete s*it show trying to get tickets. For one, they released a presale code that sponsors used to get tickets. Then they sent it out to the wrong people. Then, they allowed anyone to buy tickets for the support section. MLS Cup 2023 was a complete mess to begin with. Garber did a terrible job organizing it. Also, the LAFC supporters were not above the home end. You're probably talking about the supporter section because technically, the entire stadium is the home stand. LAFC supporters were on the opposite side of the Nordecke and could buy tickets anywhere in the stadium.
Don't forget, Austin has sold out every game at Q2 in our 4 year existence! 😉I understand us not being placed, but we have a lot passion, compared to most of the league.
Also don't forget most Austin fans were perfectly fine with ripping a team out of Columbus. They also have an owner that won't play an away game in Columbus either.

Cincinnati at 5 is a joke. FC Cincinnati gets the same level of coverage in the media as the Reds and the Bengals.
Galaxy fans got their leadership changed. Bugging

Hard L for SeattLe fans who pay to have their tifos made and need megaphones .😂😂😂
They are single handedly the cringes fanbase in North America.
