One you missed that is actually pretty useful on certain characters is how crit works. In season 8 it got reworked to make it not 100% random, and now is weighted based on how many crits/non crits you get in a row. If you crit a lot in a row, you are less likely to crit, and vise versa. This is pretty helpful on characters with auto attack chains that let them hit very hard like Ne Zha, letting you hit minions until you get a few non crits in a row and then blink in with the high damage hit of your auto attack chain for a much higher crit chance than normal. As far as I’m aware it has no time limit or target restrictions, so you can truly build up your crit chance on a minion or camp and then walk around with a near guaranteed crit on your next successful auto attack
@@bluechristmas9190No, I didn't crit 9 autoattacks on an enemy with a 95% chance. I think I critted a minion while building up stacks but yeah. Still you can not crit very often

Movement speed is also hard capped at 754 (IIRC) Been testing on Horus ult and i wasnt able to get past 754 by any mean. Horus has bonus speed in ult, add breastplate of regrowth, speed items, relics.
I think adding in a quick note about AA canceling is an effectively real mechanic despite it being "unintentional" would be helpful for new people who dont know about it.
Im like 99% certain if you stay in range of a tower after minions die it wont gain backdoor protections but will immediately regain them if you step out for even a moment

The 120% magical/85% physical damage to structures was somehow news to me. The movement speed diminishing utility I hadn't known about, but unless I was playing full movement speed Mercury it probably wouldn't have come up. The different auto attack penalties to movement speed for melee and ranged was something else I hadn't known. The minions gaining mitigation over time can be funny. Years ago, there was an option for MOTD called "Body Swap" where you banned characters that you did not want and then picked the god that your opponent would play (while they picked yours). It was almost always a guardian match-up (although this was back when Ravana was a warrior and one of the worst characters in the game, so you might be given him instead). Sometimes, if my guardian had better clear than the enemy, I would just play for super late game and then kill their wave with superior clear and bully them that way (it would take around 65-70 minutes to do, but it would work). Now, until you mentioned it, I had assumed that it was protections which they gained and just didn't have a cap. The mitigations make sense.

That would be helpful. Consider this request seconded. Also, a video on beads would be nice. Specifically, when to burn beads when cc'ed by non-ultimate abilities like Ymir freeze or Athena taunt when that ability will be up again many more times before your beads are (unlike Ares/Fenrir/Xing Tian/etc... ultimates that you can use beads to cleanse every other time). If the answer is to burn beads immediately and then play super cautiously when they're down, that's fine. I was just wondering if there are specific positioning techniques which are used when beads are on cooldown and the enemy is forcing fire giant/bull demon king/apophis/etc... My biggest weakness as a player is holding beads in case I need them later or burning them too soon and then being caught out. I know the SPL, high level ranked, and other players far above my skill level nearly always buy beads, but they make far better use of them than I manage to.
Zhong kui scroll passive applies on hit items twice, with no reduction in damage (stated reduction is 50% for BA), for example telkhines, axe of animosity, and deaths embrace lifesteal (not sure about the cooldown reduction aspect must test further) apply their full effects twice with no reduction
I wish you mentioned how anti heal actually works too many people don't even know there's a soft cap and hard cap on it. Also no mention how lifesteal on abilities that dmg and heal are affected by anti heal because Hades makes 0 sense when you apply anti heal to him since everyone builds him lifesteal while he has team healing
He's got multiple videos about anti heal. For a UA-camr who pumps out content like inter if every video that 'could' mention anti heal the length of the video would increase 30-120+ seconds depending on the depth of the breakdown of anti heal, and channel regulars would hear it multiple times a month
I know this video is mostly about hidden numbers or values, but I think a mechanic that was not explained well when I first started playing many years ago is buff effects Ie, some Buffs have additional effects. Blue gives Mp5, yes, but also 10% CDR. Yellow gives movespeed, but also gives some attack speed! I don’t play conquest much so idk about the others, but I know Blue and Yellow from Slash, so if anyone has the other info feel free to share or make a video on it!

agni only has higher base as than AMC. AMC gets wat more AS per level so at level 20 will have more base attack speed. Does it scale off of your starting base attack speed or your current base attack speed?
Does Bewitched Dagger stack with Midgardian Mail (the attack speed slow) I know previously Hi-Rez removed attack speed slow stacking from items, did that ever get reverted and does it apply to Glyphs?

Hey @Inters3ct (or anyone who knows) - Maybe not super relevant to the video but its kinda hidden since no one seems to talk about this - but Yu Huang's passive hurts him trying to get the correct totem choice (or at least for me) when it bounces to "nearest target" - I like him as a mage but its kinda frustrating sitting there trying to redo him totem choice a couple of times until it gets the right one. Is there a secret tech to using it properly for totem choices or am I just painfully unaware of a simple workaround?
Not a Yu Huang player so never noticed that. Seems like a bug imo, his basics shouldn't chain to the totems. I guess if you're precise you can fire the shot and step on the buff at the same time to grab it before it chains.

I guess that leads to a second question if you don't mind? Does the totem buff apply when the minion drops it or when you pick it up? Another tip that I'm surprised wasn't mentioned anti heal caps at 65% if you build more than that through items it's completely nullified. But having an ability with anti heal stacks with abilities to a cap of 100% some abilities already do 100% anti heal aka Osiris and serqet ult. When team fighting if everyone builds a different type of anti heal so brawler, divine ruin, contagion, the crit glyph even if everyone teams up on 1 person anything passed 65% useless
I want to point out that having higher base Attack speed does not mean you will benefit more from attack speed items on Agni newer player may get the wrong idea. Scaling is a mechanic too
A side effect of prots becoming progressively less efficient as you stack it is that penetration becomes MORE efficient the more of it you have. E.g. vs 250 prots each increment of 10% penetration (i.e. 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%) gives you +7.7%, +8.3%, +9.1%, +10.0% damage relative to the previous amount. Essentially, jumping from 30% to 40% pen in this example (175->150 net protection) does more than jumping from 0 to 10% pen (250->225 net protection) because the lower prot values are more impactful. If you manage to deal true damage (this is actually possible with full build mages vs squishies with no prot items or support auras), you are basically increasing your damage by 1% per prot negated, but incomplete penetration makes the damage increase progessively smaller.
its mind boggling to me why all hunters dont always build obow , especially in assault XD ; the only legitimate exception imho would be some kind of hunter/mage ability focused dmg build , but even in that scenario the hunters base stats and auto dmg are decent and the obow still is a huge multiplier in teamfights also contagion is basically free punish on any hard cc , plus its anti-heal aura , and good mp5 , its maybe the best item ingame imho , seeing tanks/warriors refuse to get it every game confuses me XD
I got 2 questions. I forgot the bonuses they gave to each class. I just remember that solo gets 10% cooldown for free. When does it kick in and what are the free bonuses for the other class?
It has a base amount and then more per level up to the listed amount. The others are flat penetration for assassins as mentioned in the vid. Power for mages, CCR for guardians and basic attack damage for hunters.

@@jjgarcia156it’s an aoe cleanse, not as useful as other items imo. It’s very tedious because you’d have to be watching ur back line waiting to peel plus you have to use ur ult to proc it so if ur just sitting back waiting for someone to dive than u are not being as pro active as you could be with a different item that’s why it doesn’t seem good in high level play. The only other way I could see it being useful is if you dive close with ur team and they get cleansed by it but that isn’t as common as it sounds because usually when you’re diving you single target someone so you really wouldn’t be focused on peeling it would be more luck of the draw.

Minions are affected by prots they don't have initial prots but some protection abilities do provide them to minion and that mostly matters early game and is the difference if they can clear or not. Split multiple camps in pairs, if you both do the same value camp solo you'll get 100% of each camp say a 100 gold and xp, if you both shared the camp you'll get 60% of each camps so 60 gold & xp x2 that's 120.
I think you calculated the attack speed correctly but while speaking you misspoke so for every 10% attack speed they buy agni gets 0.1% while AMC gets 0.095%... rest as always amazing info.. 😊
I think they changed the farm split mechanic or something. Its seems to me when you duo split it is a little over 100% but if you triple split it seems like it is 100% split with the number rounded down. Ok this is only for gold I don't pay attention to xp numbers.
The Support starter items is what causes this confusion. They give more gold than would be normally given for assists, effectively increasing the pool for killing minions

And then dota: we have items that make CC last longer, there's a hero that can shackle you for 10 seconds straight if never interrupted, and then once that ends hexes you for 4 seconds, and then team can come stun you, say an RP from Magnus for 5 seconds. 👍 (But there is an item that gives cc immunity from 95% of spells in the game for 8 seconds with a 70 second cool down) But it's still funny that other games like smite say no no we don't want you Perma stunned that's not fun. And then dota literally promotes it 🤣
Smite had a mechanic called focus which increased CC duration and was on certain items. I don't think it was ever on the live game, but there are some wiki pages about it.

Yea it's a cap of 5 stacks so by the 6th auto landed should be a crit and if it's not you just got slapped with the bad rng stick 😂

Yeah the hard cap is technically 1000 but due to the DR the 'effective hard cap' is around 753.

I didn't know the backdoor protections get reinstated after 5 secs and I've been playing this game since beta.
They don’t idk where he got that from.
I always forget that structure damage one. Sometimes I look at Sol and think "how do you do what you do?"
The mage structure damage explains why magical adcs are notorious tower shredders.
Also inadvertently explains the lack of magical adc's in the game too.

blue in conquest gives damage against minions and im honestly not sure what yellow does i think it is CCR

also, last hit gold mechanics only apply to minions, not jungle camps. jungle camps split gold 50/50 with no last hit bonus

The additional per lvl becomes the new base stat and it excludes increases from abilities aka Cupid 3, and Raijin ult

There was a bug where midgardian and Bewitched stacked when it got added back in as a glyph but I think it's been patched.

Essentially, jumping from 30% to 40% pen in this example (175->150 net protection) does more than jumping from 0 to 10% pen (250->225 net protection) because the lower prot values are more impactful.
If you manage to deal true damage (this is actually possible with full build mages vs squishies with no prot items or support auras), you are basically increasing your damage by 1% per prot negated, but incomplete penetration makes the damage increase progessively smaller.
its mind boggling to me why all hunters dont always build obow , especially in assault XD ; the only legitimate exception imho would be some kind of hunter/mage ability focused dmg build , but even in that scenario the hunters base stats and auto dmg are decent and the obow still is a huge multiplier in teamfights
also contagion is basically free punish on any hard cc , plus its anti-heal aura , and good mp5 , its maybe the best item ingame imho , seeing tanks/warriors refuse to get it every game confuses me XD

I got 2 questions. I forgot the bonuses they gave to each class. I just remember that solo gets 10% cooldown for free. When does it kick in and what are the free bonuses for the other class?
It has a base amount and then more per level up to the listed amount. The others are flat penetration for assassins as mentioned in the vid. Power for mages, CCR for guardians and basic attack damage for hunters.
Arachnes 1 triggers item effects as in bluestone and crusher.

@@jjgarcia156it’s an aoe cleanse, not as useful as other items imo. It’s very tedious because you’d have to be watching ur back line waiting to peel plus you have to use ur ult to proc it so if ur just sitting back waiting for someone to dive than u are not being as pro active as you could be with a different item that’s why it doesn’t seem good in high level play. The only other way I could see it being useful is if you dive close with ur team and they get cleansed by it but that isn’t as common as it sounds because usually when you’re diving you single target someone so you really wouldn’t be focused on peeling it would be more luck of the draw.

Minions are affected by prots they don't have initial prots but some protection abilities do provide them to minion and that mostly matters early game and is the difference if they can clear or not. Split multiple camps in pairs, if you both do the same value camp solo you'll get 100% of each camp say a 100 gold and xp, if you both shared the camp you'll get 60% of each camps so 60 gold & xp x2 that's 120.
Now uve got to go solo lane with a attack speed agni. Look it even hits tower harder

Don't forgot anti heal caps at 65% unless you have an ability that provides anti heal then you add item based anti heal to that (can't exceed 100%)
I think you calculated the attack speed correctly but while speaking you misspoke so for every 10% attack speed they buy agni gets 0.1% while AMC gets 0.095%... rest as always amazing info.. 😊
I think they changed the farm split mechanic or something. Its seems to me when you duo split it is a little over 100% but if you triple split it seems like it is 100% split with the number rounded down. Ok this is only for gold I don't pay attention to xp numbers.
The Support starter items is what causes this confusion. They give more gold than would be normally given for assists, effectively increasing the pool for killing minions

Words have been misused a lot lately, but we need to remember they are meant to understand each other... I have to say my opinion for those who did not get their opportunity to see these paterns yet: We simply need to listen and tolerate and not have "leaders" with all the money and power be so shortsighted using only spreadsheets in their never ending quest for more money this quarter than last quarter... They are so out of the loop and rich none of these issues reach them and they close their eyes, don't care, invest in things they are clueless about and some might even be getting it and pulling us toward there cuz that did not happen overnight... (id say it got bad after WW2 and the new consumer market (planned obsolescence etc.) and not much social developement compared to technological advancement since liberty charts and women equality imo) And all the mental health issues getting worse, the gaslight meta and the weaponization of the woke sentiment for disinformation that benefits the few while the rest scream pretty much the same thing not realising they saying the same thing. I now hate the woke term even though i never was racist or anything like that... Really is time we start using our human side and learn to all thrive for real !
AS a smite gamer for 10 years with 6k+ hours in it and my own semi-toxic relationship with this game: The devs are wise and they are already tapping into the human side and biological computer AND communicate with the mess that is internet rn ! They do it with a "new tech hybrid model" fs but larian seems to have been sitting on a goldmine for a while as well even though I only have these to praise rn, there IS a place to share your subjective view no matter what it is and maybe get helped (FR NO BS) or change the world (or any shades of grey in between)
When you look deeper on anything you start to find that variables can all fit together with a lot of other RELATED things... Rocket scientist surely have some insigts about the logic side of this, but we can start to look about the emotions and all the things unseen with charts and computers... The biological computer is the key imo.

And then dota: we have items that make CC last longer, there's a hero that can shackle you for 10 seconds straight if never interrupted, and then once that ends hexes you for 4 seconds, and then team can come stun you, say an RP from Magnus for 5 seconds. 👍
(But there is an item that gives cc immunity from 95% of spells in the game for 8 seconds with a 70 second cool down)
But it's still funny that other games like smite say no no we don't want you Perma stunned that's not fun. And then dota literally promotes it 🤣
Smite had a mechanic called focus which increased CC duration and was on certain items. I don't think it was ever on the live game, but there are some wiki pages about it.
