i just want to let you know that i had a really rough night tonight and came home wanting to take my mind off things before i went to sleep. i signed in to youtube hoping you would have put up a new video and this was exactly what i needed. thankyou so much for continuing to make videos and for doing this tonight, as silly as it sounds a 17 minute long video about makeup brushes helped me a lot, thankyou michele :) x
Thank you Michelle for posting such detailed links in your info section. Brush videos are one of my favorites and I just think its really considerate that you take the extra time and explain each one, compare them to other brands and tell us what exactly makes them your favorites over other ones in your collection. Your a great guru girly!!
I had been obsessing about your makeup brushes. I finally found the Essence of Beauty brush and I have to tell that I love it as much as you! Winner, winner chicken dinner! I am now on a quest to get them all. Thanks
Who on earth would dislike this video, I mean c'mon seriously?.....it was so helpful!! Thanks Michelle! I think I'm going to make another Sigma order. xoxo
Love those walmart brushes. I need to go back and grab another set. And the 129 has been on my wishlist forever, I just need to go get it already! Great video :)
This was amazing! Thank you! As someone who has been into makeup for years, but never got into brushes, this is a wonderful introduction! An awesome vid! :-)
i just wanted to say i absolutely LOOOVVVEEE your videos i think ive watched like all ur videos and am always so excited to see a new one posted. i think we have similar taste and style and have tried lots of the stuff u reccommed! :)
Great video! No matter how much I practice I still can't seem to apply eyeliner well and I was wondering if you could do a video/tutorial with tips for applying each type of eyeliner (gel, pencil, liquid)?
I just received my first Sigma brush today! I got the F80, I can't wait to use it! I so wish I would have realized you get commission, I would have totally ordered through you... Next time I will, I'm sure I will want more!
Great video! I now have a much longer list of brushes to get, thank you very much :D I like my E05 liner brush, I just found a great gel liner I really love and it's easy peasy now.
I love this video! I enjoy hearing you talk :o) I love the sigmax brushes too! The F82 works really nicely with cream blushes. I am DYING to buy some of the Tom Ford brushes. I'm currently on a no buy but maybe I'll pick up a couple of those in a few months. And thanks for replying to my question on the GHD plates yesterday. Nadia xx
Very helpful! I share many of those favorites also! Actually, and surprisingly, there are a couple elf eye brushes that I'm quite fond of also. They are super cheap but soft and comparable to my sigma ones. The elf face brushes are awful though lol. Thanks so much luv! Have a good rest of your week;) Xoxo Katie
The Japanese yachiyo brush i think you're talking about is Hakuhodo. They are a premier brush company that make their brushes out of extremely soft uncut hair. They have a small, medium, and large size for their yachiyos.
I love your choices... the one I had a horrible experience with was my MAC 129... it's the worst brush I've ever had, I thought I was going nuts, but I went online and searched for reviews, and many people seem to agree... It's poky and sheds like a dog... D: love your videos!!
Great picks! Must say I'd much rather pay the extra money for MAC's 217 then the E25 though. I like several of Sigma's brushes but don't find the e25 to be the same quality as the MAC
I love the walmart eyebrow brush too but both ends just detached from the wooden base yesterday :( And I haven't had it for long and haven't washed it frequently.
I love the concept of a dual ended brush but it got so annoying trying to figure out how to store them efficiently without squashing one end.... I never figured it out so I ended up cutting the ones I had in half! lol
Hi Michele could you please do an eyeliner vid using the sigma eyeliner brush I use either pencil eyeliner or felt tip and I can never get a perfect line I have the sigma eyeliner brush though I just need to know how to use it :)
hi michele, just wondering if you've checked out the ecotools bronzer blush? it has great reviews on makeupalley and seems somewhat similar to the bobbi brown one!
hey michele, hope your having a nice day :-)! sorry to bother you but i have two questions, what do you find to be the best brush to apply bare minerals warmth? and what is the best brush to apply pigments onto the eyes. brand/price are irrelevant. thanks!
You mentioned using baby shampoo and the Dr.Bronners magic soap to clean your brushes? Do you use both just at different times or do you prefer one over the other?
@uni040636 I remember Michele's original video and I also bought the Essence of Beauty brush after watching. Ebay is great for getting brushes that we don't have in the UK :)
Michele, I've been wondering about the Bobbi Brown under eye concealer. I bought the corrector a long time ago in the wrong color so I haven't used it in a long time. It seemed very creamy, almost oily. It seemed to find the wrong creases under my eyes and make it look bad. Am I applying it wrong? Should I give it another go? P.S. What ever happened to loving the Well Rested? I havent seen you use it in forever!
@nosleepinheaven I agree with what you have to say, but I think that Sigma is a good alternative for people who don't want to spend $50 dollars on a MAC brush. My brushes are primarily MAC, but I do have some Sigma brushes. And honestly I've been using my Sigma brushes more. Sigma brushes are great quality and are actually softer then MAC brushes. So maybe MAC needs to step up their game.
Hi Michele I want to buy the Mrs Bunny Essential Kit start experimenting with proper brushes, and because I know you are affiliated with them I would like to ask you for your link to it because if it wasnt for you I dont think I ever would have known about Sigma brushes as I am from Australia and no one stocks them here in stores and I wouldnt know half the things about beauty or even cool fashion brands if it wasnt for you. So thank you for that :) I LOVE your videos keep up the great work
@ninasgottamakeit In almost all of her videos she says that her blush shows up way more pigmented than it is in real life, maybe it is just the camera.
@VivaVistaMac1 I'm not Michele but I just wanted to recommend you try Dior's Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating foundation. Sephora carries it so you can always pick up a sample first :o)
@ninasgottamakeit Just watched his video. Didn't he specify it is okay to apply on the apples of the cheeks if you are young? I think Michele is still young. She is doing just fine in my opinion.

I have the Sigma E05 and I absolutely love it!!!! I couldn't live without it :D
I have that essence brush, as well as the sigma ones. But totally agree the E05 is the best eyeline and the dual ended essence brush is phenomenal
This was amazing! Thank you!
As someone who has been into makeup for years, but never got into brushes, this is a wonderful introduction!
An awesome vid! :-)
Michele, thanks to you I found the perfect brush for eyeliner. E05 is perfect!
i just wanted to say i absolutely LOOOVVVEEE your videos i think ive watched like all ur videos and am always so excited to see a new one posted. i think we have similar taste and style and have tried lots of the stuff u reccommed! :)
Great video! No matter how much I practice I still can't seem to apply eyeliner well and I was wondering if you could do a video/tutorial with tips for applying each type of eyeliner (gel, pencil, liquid)?
I love the P82! It's amazing for concealer, it's a substitute for my own finger. Absolutely love it :)
I just received my first Sigma brush today! I got the F80, I can't wait to use it! I so wish I would have realized you get commission, I would have totally ordered through you... Next time I will, I'm sure I will want more!
Hakuhodo makes Yachiyo brushes at multiple price points. Hakuhodo brushes are fantastic!!!
I get so excited when I see a new video of yours pop up, great video very helpful
I got that Bobbi Brown brush because of you and I loveeee it
Excellent video as usual. Love that nail polish on you!
Great video! I now have a much longer list of brushes to get, thank you very much :D I like my E05 liner brush, I just found a great gel liner I really love and it's easy peasy now.
I have been so enjoying your favorite videos. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you - have just ordered the double ended Essence of Beauty brush on-line from an ebay seller that posts free to the UK : )
i love your videos :D youve become one of my fave gurus !!
Thank you so much Michele, definitely getting the EO5 now :3
I use that same spoolie combo brush everyday & I completely agree w/ the E05/25 also! Great video ;)) xo & ♥ Krista

Love this, so helpful! Thanks Michele!
Love this video so, so helpful! Going to pick some of these up :)
@ninasgottamakeit My dear, Wayne says in that video that you can apply blush however you want.
You should try Pixiwoo's brushes, you can find them at Ulta!!! I think they're amazing & soft!!!!
I found this very helpful! I like that many of these are vegan and crulety free!!! Thanks!
Great video Michelle!
Great video, Michele! You really know your stuff. :)
Great picks! Must say I'd much rather pay the extra money for MAC's 217 then the E25 though. I like several of Sigma's brushes but don't find the e25 to be the same quality as the MAC
Thanks for your suggestions! I'll have to get the CVS brush. I always pass by it and think, "nahhh,"
before i even watched the video i pressed the like button--there is not a single video of yours i dont LOVE! :)
It's Hakuhodo Michelle and you need to try some brushes from them! I'm sure you will love it better than Sigma. :)
I like the F80 too and I really like the Elf flat top brush and it is only $3
I love the walmart eyebrow brush too but both ends just detached from the wooden base yesterday :( And I haven't had it for long and haven't washed it frequently.
Hey Michele! Do you use your macbook to record your videos? I love your videos btw!
I am ready for spring Michele!! What are your favorite products in your collection for this season? :)
I love the concept of a dual ended brush but it got so annoying trying to figure out how to store them efficiently without squashing one end.... I never figured it out so I ended up cutting the ones I had in half! lol
have you tried the eco tools eye brushes? also, do you have the mrs. bunny travel size or regular set? love your vids!
Agreed!
have you tried the f82? what do you think of that one versus the f80 or f84...i'm trying to decide which one to get.
love your videos btw!
Nice brush favorites, thank you.
Hi Michele could you please do an eyeliner vid using the sigma eyeliner brush I use either pencil eyeliner or felt tip and I can never get a perfect line I have the sigma eyeliner brush though I just need to know how to use it :)
Michele, Hakuhodo's Japanese traditions brushes include several Yachiyo brushes in different sizes. Check out hakuhodousa website.
hi michele, just wondering if you've checked out the ecotools bronzer blush? it has great reviews on makeupalley and seems somewhat similar to the bobbi brown one!
@ fashionnbabiixo Walgreens also sells Dr. Bronners :-)
I think the kabuki you were thinking of is by Hakuhodo
I remembered you said that you loved david babaii shampoo and conditioner... we have loads of them here in australian drugstore :)
hey michele, hope your having a nice day :-)! sorry to bother you but i have two questions, what do you find to be the best brush to apply bare minerals warmth? and what is the best brush to apply pigments onto the eyes. brand/price are irrelevant. thanks!

I love this video... thank you
I find that the Mac 217 has less give than the Sigma version, so I prefer the Mac one for that reason :)
Can you put the link of the makeup cleanser you were talking about?
Very helpful video. Thank you :)
are the other brushes that came with your walmart eyebrow brush good? how do you store your dual ended brushes so that the bristles dont get ruined?
@nosleepinheaven I agree with what you have to say, but I think that Sigma is a good alternative for people who don't want to spend $50 dollars on a MAC brush. so helpful! :)
sigma makes a ss129 new numbering is f10!
have you tried the Sigma E10 for gel liner?
Hi Michele
I want to buy the Mrs Bunny Essential Kit start experimenting with proper brushes, and because I know you are affiliated with them I would like to ask you for your link to it because if it wasnt for you I dont think I ever would have known about Sigma brushes as I am from Australia and no one stocks them here in stores and I wouldnt know half the things about beauty or even cool fashion brands if it wasnt for you. I LOVE your videos keep up the great work
Great video! :)
Please list the name of the brush cleaner you use!!!
Is the pencil brush end of the Walmart set good? Or can you recommend another?
Hakuhodo is the brand you couldn't remember, I think? (to compare with the japonesque)
how do you shape & travel with your brushes?
Do you have the Mac 116? I was wondering how it compares to the 129.
@ninasgottamakeit In almost all of her videos she says that her blush shows up way more pigmented than it is in real life, maybe it is just the camera.
I like her blush....
hi please can you tell me what that tiffany necklace is and what inch is the chain.
All Sigma's E05 brushes are synthetic not just the one in the bunny collection.
Did you get the BOBBI BROWN Bronzer too? If you did, which one did you get
@mariahpiper i agree
I actually like the 116 better than the 129. The 129 kinda applies too much blush at times for me.
Done thanks hun :)
She is doing just fine in my opinion.
the link for the sigma F84 just says Page Not Found!
I like the MAC 116 better. I feel like the 129 is too big for blush, but that is just my opinion
@fashionnbabiixo and it's dr. bronners
@michele1218 Thank you for the reply.
@ninasgottamakeit
@silverjewels143 target
everyone has their own opinion, get over yourself
@ninasgottamakeit go away. k thx!1!!!!!
