- We're at the home of Interior Designer of Amir Khamneipur. When Amir was designing his home he wanted a space that felt like a luxurious 5 Star hotel room. He did a lot with a little and there are plenty of design surprises!

This designer is incredibly talented. Why am I not seeing more of his work? In love with the attention to detail and artistic expression.
I think it is fabulous! I love the edge on the sink to keep water from spilling over! I have never seen that before and I think it is genius.
The towers in the bedroom are a must and so beautiful! I adore the sink in the kitchen to tie in all the brass. I just think it is all beautiful and so elegant in a not too fussy way!

It's gorgeous, but I don't think I could ever relax in that space. It looks like it should have a sign on the front door that says look but don't touch

I love how he maximized every bit of space, this is his style and if you don't want or like his style, it ok. It doesn't scream don't touch to me, just elegance and style 👌🏽😊❤️❤️

I never get it when people say stuff like this about other people. His eyes and expression look normal to me. What am I missing here? It also feels like such an impolite and unkind thing to say about a living person. What if he read the comments?
This is beautiful luxurious yet does not give the feel of a hotel in the sense too much of opulence ruins it !!hes made it so perfect thts the beauty

I like this apartment and all that he has done to it, some are clever idea of his, like that wall mirror.. Gorgeous apartment but I dont think I can feel relax in that living room area... it's feel "too formal"..? it's feel like a beautiful hotel's lobby area where we are not suppose to be sitting/staying for long time in there.. As a designer myself, I believe "Home" is all about 'Living in a space that grounds you"...
AS 7TR would you be able to relax with your reflection in your peripheral vision? And the amount of cleaning the mirrors need haha..

is it because of the whiteness . It makes it look untouchable or it will get dirty. Adding colors to the living room makes it look capable of being messy and add liveliness to the place.

Beautiful no doubt especially the hanging ceiling lights and the sleek cook top!!The chest of drawers in the bedroom are beautiful but a bit too high to be placed on either side of the bed !!All in all its elegant !!

Ive learnt so much by listening to other interior designers, about the decisions they make and the reasoning behind it. Designing a small place looks challenging and at the same time listening carefully to the clients needs.

It looks far bigger than it actually is. He cleverly tricks the eye by mirroring one wall and keeping the furniture to the sides so it looks more spacious. Lots of tall windows and neutral colours help too.

I googled it, and it's only 670 square feet. It's a one-bedroom with a very small kitchen and living area. If you look at photos you can see how compact it actually is. The mirrors everywhere really fool the eye. When he mentioned guests I wondered where the guest bedroom is, but the sofas in the living room pivot to become two twin beds...so that's where his nephews sleep when visiting, right next to the kitchen. www.housebeautiful.com/design-inspiration/house-tours/g3637/amir-khamneipur-apartment/

Really!?!? White Silk as a backsplash in the bathroom. That seems spectacularly impractical. Otherwise, an exquisite space. The stove top is ingenious.

It's a bit gaudy... everything seems gilded. But it's beautifully designed in terms of the clever ways he's maximized the use of space. Overall, it's very well done.
My Goodness .. I would need to go to bed very early every night for being tired of having to sit straight and formal in all furniture and never relax or kick up my legs anywhere in my own home, if I lived there. Where's the cozy and comfy space to watch tv or chill with tea and a book?

Needless to say, the design is lovely without lacking style nor comfort. However, my space in Greenwich Village is 450sq ft. now that's what I consider small, although with mirrors and great furniture with double functions, it makes my place more livable.

Great Style in a small space. I would like to see Amir host a show where he helps others renovate their Tiny Apartments, nothing larger than 450sqft. I would like to develop micro apartments in New York, but I can't find very many realistic examples that show 350SqFt of Cool, functional, Luxury space. Usually I see examples from Europe or Australia, or horrible phone booth sized places in Manhattan.

It's a great hotel space with little to no soul in it. As a space, it lacks the warmth and inviting elements that make a home. To each his or her own but not for me.
peoples homes should reflect who They are. One of the things that is so wrong with modern design is that we design rooms with this phony, staged homeyness that is as fake feeling as you claim this mans home is. I love his home. I like his design. Its his, and we should understand that design is personal, for a reason, its personal!!!!! Stop judging and run right down to restoration hardware for a grey room and a bud light....

Mirror up hang at the head of the bed? That is not the best positioning. Solid wall and clean wallpaper give better sleep and relaxation.
It doesn't look liveable to me. More like a show house
