- Today we get to cruise around on the Zero 11x. Beautiful sunny day. Full charge. Lake. Couldn't imagine a better day. I feel like I'm more protected than most, being on a scooter with a full face helmet, but I was very surprised how many people were out just walking around during CoVid-19. Seattle don't care I guess!

It definitely was a blast to film. Very tiring day. I've got about 100 miles on the 11x so far, need lots more before I can give a great review, but I too am looking forward to it!

Ya there are a couple people on Reddit with them that we're commenting a lot this last summer. Haven't seen them around in a while. They seemed to really like their scooters though.

It sounds like you're in the market for a zero 11x. I have no idea if the one you're looking at on Alibaba is legit or not. things go wrong on these scooters all the time though and I can't stress enough the importance of getting a scooter with a warranty and buying from a company that can get you the parts to support that warranty. For example, if you had bought a zero 11x last year off of Alibaba you would probably been stuck with two dead controllers and would've had to source parts yourself. Fun.

I live in the tri cities which is a smaller city which scooter in your opinion would you think will be a better fit for me thanks.
It depends on what you like to do on your scooter? Are you experienced? Going off-road? Just city cruising? Do you want to be able to jump curbs and things?

Hey! Thanks for the comment, glad you liked the video. Can you believe the results of that race? I thought for SURE I would win, considering the Zero 11 is lighter. BUT the 13" tires on the DTX, once they get spinning, make that scooter a few MPH faster than the Zero 11x's 11" tires! Off the line, the Zero 11x is faster than any scooter I've ever been on, and frankly, faster than I thought scoots could go!
Better suspension than the wolf, seems like they just need the minimotors throttle now. Is it as rigid and sturdy as the wolf? Awesome video man.
I would argue that the suspension on the 11X is better for on-road activity. The Zero11 suspension isn't as rigid and sturdy as the wolf, its more fluid and weighted feeling. The steering on the Zero11 is really cool, the bearings in the stem are not loose so it takes actual effort to move the bars back and forth. Unfortunately that does make the scooter a bit less maneuverable, but it also acts like a built in steering dampener and makes speed wobbles next to impossible, I REALLY like it on this scooter, its like a free added bonus.
On the drag race, are you sure your settings were at maximum? I've seen a lot of x11 smocking the X!
Innnnteeresting! Perhaps they weren't? I'm 99% sure they were but I'll have to run some tests to double check. Seems top speed for me, with current settings, is around 52mph.
@@GingerOnWheels top speed claimed by the manufacturer is 60-65mph, also depends on the wheels! You have the offroad tires on I think!
@@GingerOnWheels Yeah WrongWay got 52 mph as well on the 11X. It might take off fast from dig but the top end seems weak.. Is this your new scooter or did u borrow it for test runs?
@@rockefelleragent1357 wrong way was using off road tires and not max battery. With Road tires he would hit 58+
@@l-Lucid-l Sorry dude it's not hitting 58 mph GPS. These scooters top out fast when you hit 50- 52 mph. Anything considerably faster than that you need a breakthrough in power increase.
What a wonderful Ride you had, and at the same time I can’t believe how many people were out. Every time I go to my local park track there’s always so many people I’m like where do they come from. We human beings need to get out every once in a while.
On a normal day, that's not very crowded for Greenlake at all. But this video was shot when Covid was at it's peak which is why it was so surprising to me. I felt like I was taking a huge risk to go out and film but all of these people are out strolling in the park in big groups like no big deal. Oh well. Glad I'm all vaxx'd and nothing to worry about anymore.

Does it matter where I buy a Dualtron scooter? If I need service or repair in the future?
Definitely. If you get an Alibaba knock off or buy used on Craigslist you'll have NO support. Some repairs on these scooters can be hard to diagnose or expensive to fix. Its best to buy local if you can, that way you can just drop you scooter off for repairs under warranty if it ever has real issues. Otherwise, do some research and buy from a reputable vendor that has online sales and good reviews. Companies that operate online like that will often just mail you replacement parts with instructions on how to fix your scooter. Or sometimes they will even replace them flat out.

You finally got a go on the 11X :) How do you like the display / throttle compared to the EY3?
The display seems fine to me, honestly. It has all the basic settings that you would need. Unless you really like adjusting sensitivity of your electronic braking then it works just fine.

i own a wolf 1000km, couldnt even drive the 11x due to the unresponsivness. and yet i also owned 10x before the wolf...
@Ivan Popov the lag did bother me a bit in the beginning, but you get used to it. Also I was told that the version of the 11x arriving in May will not have this lag so that's cool. The tight steering takes a while to get used to, but there's no denying it makes the scooter way more stable at high speed.

The display cable block connector matches the controller (EY3 cant be used on 11 X without changing controller also) An EY3 Chinese clone display has come out now I presume the block connector fits the 11 X controller. I wonder if they will start using that soon and how it compares with lag.
I think i was one of the people there because i was at Washington around the SAME area and all i see is 2 people with super fast scooters
I believe the reason the Dualtron X Caught up at the end is because the rider on the Dualtron is lighter and was cutting into the wind more than the rider on the zero 11X which makes a huge difference in the scooters. You should have switched riders.
I think there might be something to this. I've recently started crouching at full speeds and it seems to make a 3-5 mph difference on the flats.

Just wondering why you haven't done a head 2 head between the Wolf and the Z11X? Love this content and you've also looked at the Wolf vs the DTX... I just feel the obvious comparo is between the Wolf and the Z11X. You're unique in that you have experience with both 🤷

How is the 11x compare to the warrior 11+?
11x has wicked acceleration due to higher voltage, but the wolf is better at offroading in my opinion. The lower bars and shorter wheelbase make it a lot more nimble than the 11x. Suspension on the 11x breaks down pretty quickly if you continually hit huge bumps over and over, too.
Yesterday i did read an article in the newspaper that most likely e-scooter in 2021 are going to be allowed in the open streets in the Netherlands.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

I have ordered a Z11X. Delivery in 6 weeks. It also has all the updates like a new controller so it doesn't burn out that quicly.
I am very curious how the power will be. Never ever have drivin an e-scooter. So it is a big ques for me.
But i have watched at least 25 of you video's Ginger. So everything won't be a complete surprise.
Also a onewheel was very tempting but a scooter can bring me a little bit more comfort i think. On the back i will make somekind of topbox. A removable one. So i can use the scooter also for going to the supermarket after work.
I have searched everywhere for handgloves. The ones that have that wristprotection in it. So at a fall the force doesn't go completely into your wrists. But so far no luck.
I hope it won't dissapoint because it is still a lot of money. So i will definitly need to charge the scooter at my work.🤭
Try searching for Hillbilly wrist guards, they are the only ones I know of with full finger and wrist protection. Otherwise, tripple8 gloves work very well. You're going to be blown away by the power of the Z11X, especially if it's your first scooter. Be careful on that thing!

Ya, P settings were maxed as soon as I got it.
I wonder what amperage the 11x is putting out from the controller... My 5600w Chinese generic brand scooter gets me to 56- 57 mph (GPS tested) turned out that each controller box is rated at 50 amp! That would equate to 6000w nominal and 6700w at full charge! Mine is definitely underrated. You guys might want to look for other selections beside 11x.

@@maxl7827 Minor correction it topped out at 55 mph not 57. Oh no it broke after a few months of use. One of my controllers went out. Been running single motor since then. Then a few months ago both of my motors went out. I have a new powerful (better cooling with big mosfets!) controller that will go to the rear. Currently waiting on receiving one motor and brake disks.. Downtime has been 9 months. Once all goes well I will have a 7700w power! ..but oh no my Chinese battery is going flakey and it lost some voltage capacity and performs horribly in the freezing winter. Battery build is coming up also..

I also look at Dualtron Thunder but the price is creazy. Zero 11 X is awsome like a motorcylcle. My Enduro bike was New in Mars 2020 now I have bike 1750 kilometer and today is 10 August. I think I Will be happy with my Zero 10 X with LG battery 23ah and hydralic breaks.

I believe the Rion would smoke all of these scooters. Only problem I see with the Rion is the range unless their higher end models have massive batteries.
You're probably right. But the fact that they cost as much as the dualtron X but have no suspension and are made of carbon fiber that can crack on bumpy roads and have a 10 mile range was enough to exclude it as a challenger . Now, a WePed SSR or GT50e could probably smoke us both.
I heard that Rion internals (electronics) are much better designed and efficient in power delivery but still, the battery capacity is too small. If you ride gently it might be enough to do 20+ miles round-trip commute.
Rion cannot go on even slightly wet conditions

Vsett 11+ is 60v vs Zero’s 72v. 11x is better value for money. Way underrated.
Wrong way said the 11x was faster than the Dualtron X but this video proves it wrong 🙂
It probably had a lot to do with the weight of the riders. I'm about 30-50lbs more than him I think. Also charge level, we had been riding for a while before this. They are definitely very closely matched. It's possible the 11x could win under the right circumstances I think. But there is no denying that the 11x accelerates from a stop WAY faster than any scooter ive ever ridden.
I dunno about the extra 3k for the dualtron over the 11x. I mean with that much money you could get another high end scooter.
The suspension was dreamlike though. The build quality of the Dualtron x put the 11x to shame I'm afraid. But in terms of speed the DTX is just marginally faster.

Dualtron X is +/- 50% more expensive than Zero 11X then no one should be surprised its faster

Of course the DTX will pass you. Look how short and light the dude is. If you were the same weight and high (wind resistance), the 11X would destroy it as it's a 72v system.
Thats a good point, we should have swapped scooters. Its also relevant that the DT X has 50 amp controllers where the 11x has 45amp.

They both contribute to top speed. Its also possible that the DT X's 13" tires helped with top speed over the Zero 11x's 11" tires.
