That’s true, most folks days are similar or the same as the one before, or after. I suppose mine are just different to the majority in that I get to work with livestock, and trees, and people.

🎉You can almost see the wheels creaking as you consider thier feed. Besides bellowing early alarm do cattle if not fed develop problems like wind/gas 😊
The trick is, don’t let them get hungry, plan your days, and their requirements before anything else. If they go without feed for a few hours it won’t do a lot of harm, unless your milking, (M+P)Maintenance plus production. They need enough to maintain condition and health, plus the extra to provide production. With beef the numbers are a bit different. It’s then (M + LWG) Maintenance plus live weight gain. Dexters are a bit different to modern breeds of cattle, they can thrive on a diet that would see a Simmental or Limousine beast go backwards. They will still bellow though if they think they are short if feed, or the neighbours bale smells better than theirs 😄

I start my day watching your vids lain in bed with a cup of coffee, have let the dog out from the front yard so she can use the tree nursery across the road. You could maybe fork the last part of the bale to one end of the feeder, to see if that helps use it all. Or just keep on use it as B&B.
Once they have picked out the best, you may as well chuck the rest in for B&B, they will only ignore it if there is the choice if fresher stuff…… Unless you chuck it on the floor…. Then they will happily eat it 😄😄

Just a thought, but is it worth investing in more road planings, to increase the depth of your main travel routes, and scratching in a few gulleys/ channels to help steer your ground water (RAIN) around your barns, and Patrick's and the steer's yard? We gather from your videos that you are clearly not a fan of the MUD !! and let's face it. It's only going to get worse before it gets better 🤣😂🤣😂
Many will agree with you Ronald, it’s a question I’m raising in the next video. Although I’m used to producing a daily upload, I could quite happily go back to three a week if that’s what folks want. 🙂

Ah the standard male present ,socks and pants. Is there anyway you can put another small feeder in with the calves?
Surprised UTV lights haven’t approached the famous Farmer P 🤪. If they do… I need some for the MB Trac mate🤪🤣🤣🤦♂
A lighting company did try a year or two back, can’t remember who it was though.

The muck and mud this year has been exceptional, we have plans to improve the yards, but the cost of everything just keeps going up.
You do make way too many videos. Should be a maximum of three per week.
