What's up man. Great day of fishing with your nephew. Nice striped bass. I knew it was a nice fish, from all the line peeling. I just subscribed to your channel. Keep them videos coming and tight lines man.
Man, it was nice catching up over the weekend. Like how you fish on your boat and still fish on shore, awesome content, never forget about us shore fisherman. When we hitting up South Shore?
Can’t forget about where you started, still got love for my bank fishermen. I’m ready for south shore pond when you are…just lmk! And thanks for watching
Wow! Nice catch. I been thinking about getting that same phenix spinning rod. , how does it feel being that it’s a extra fast rod , is the tip too soft ? What do you normally throw on a extra fast rod? I always used fast action , thanks
The rod feels great! It handle the big striper really well. It does have a extra fast tip but overall it performed well. And with extra fast tip I usually throw small baits, nothing over 3/4oz. Thanks for watching!
Whatever you do don't use that rod to plug in the salt haha... it's amazing but after 2 months my tip flew off on a perfect cast. The tip had a little scratch I think the salt got to it
@@VL_Fishing_207it hit right by the bank just like yours did! I fish at sunset time and right when it gets dark the bite gets 🔥. I thought I hooked into a salmon or something it peeled my drag so hard many times! Watching this video took me back to that memory! Can’t wait to hook into a good sized one again! Nice catch and video 👌🏻
Nice catch ,.. but no monster…! If you think that’s a monster,… you should fish the East Coast… Montauk, NY ….That’s where the monster Stripers are …. Averaging 50lbs. all day long…! There aren’t many monsters in California anymore…. there was when I was just a kid…. I’m over 60 now … I’ve seen a lot that’s happened since then… some good … some not so good…
Here in California you don’t see them get big but every once in a while you can still catch a big striper to 20-30lbs. East coast has the biggest. And thanks for watching!
